Good service and food. Homemade chips were a bit undercooked but we enjoyed the rest of our meal. Would return if nearby.

Three proper beers on pumps. London Pride, Doom Bar and Rebellion IPA, the local brew. I chose the Ipa and it was lovely. The pub serves meals but I was just here for a quick pint mid dog walk. Pleasant garden at the front but dogs mot allowed in the bar even, which must cost them some trade. Friendly bar... More

The food here was okay but certainly did not live up to the hype of "Marlow's Hidden Gem!. The local drunks and bums stood blocking the bar area didn't really had to the ambience either.

So glad we stopped off here during our walk, we sat in the lovely quiet garden The food was freshly cooked to a very high standard. I enjoyed the herb crusted plaice whilst my husband had the roast beef. I would definitely recommend a visit.

It's not good business practice or good customer service for the barman to turn away customers at 10:30pm when he's sitting there drinking with his mates. Marlow's best kept secret can stay that way. Our only impression was one of football shirts and lager - a sure sign of what will be a rough pub.

A quite country pub with excellent food. Small restaurant where you can hear the conversation around your table and you are not fighting background noise.

First time in this cosy dining room and we had a warm welcome and experienced their very charming menu, highlights were the octopus salad, calves liver, rock sea bass, choc brownie (more like a fondant - not complaining), pear n rice pudding. Recommend it.

We have visited this pub before, about eighteen months ago, and find the quality is still very high. Our first visit impressed us with the food and wine list, ( Beaconsfield Wine shop suppliers). Decor needed updating. The cooking is inventive and well presented. No overbearing sauces or strange combinations. Service was good and we all enjoyed an excellent meal.... More
