Although though this sweet place was just across the street from where we stayed, it took us a couple of days to realize it was a restaurant. I absolutely LOVE the inside "decor" a beautful dark pink wall highlighted by 2 story vigas, various potted...plants and crumbling walls. The food was great-although my" french toast with fruit" had about 8 raspberries on it, I just expected just a little more as it was posted "with fruit". My husband had the "El Favorito De Caron" one day and the Toast de Aguacate the other and both were excellent. The service was a bit slow but I feel like we need to give everyone some slack as many of the businesses are just reopening after COVID shut downs. I really could spend all day in here as I just love the settinhMore

We walked by this restaurant quite a few times before we noticed it. It is tucked away on Animas and once you walk through the doors, you are in a casual, hip and comfortable atmosphere. We stopped in for brunch and the food was amazing....I wish we had found this restaurant earlier because we were staying just up the street and would have been regulars! The service was prompt, friendly and very attentive.More

The atmosphere is relaxed and service is not speedy but it is Mexico. Chill out. I love the food and the owners and the cats. Polenta with eggs. Yum.

This place is a trip. Unbelievable cool setting. Good food but they have no service training and they don’t care. I’m not some impatient snow bird. I am an ex server. I understand the snobbery of slow service and this is not that. They kick...this down below any thing I have ever witnessed. Go just to experience how bad they are.More

Food is good, not excellent. Creative and well presented but the service was abominable. I took a group of ten with reservations way in advance to insure they had enough staff etc. being Sunday and probably a busier day than normal. They had one waitress!...She took our drink orders and we asked to wait until the last 3 stragglers arrived before ordering our meal. An HOUR later I had to ask if she could take our order. Then about 45 minutes later our meals ‘started’ arriving bit by bit and some were cold, not to mention poached eggs were actually hard boiled. My fried eggs were done to perfection fortunately. They were rude and very unprofessional in handling the situation and most of us won’t go back again. Inside Cafe is a much better option imo.More

I've enjoyed breakfast and lunch here many times. It is a small place with indoor and patio seating. The food takes a little long to be delivered, but it is fresh, well made, delicious and worth the wait.

Had a very good breakfast in a pleasant setting. Only reason it’s not 5 stars was the service, slow, slow slow, took a long time to get any attention, when we did we had to ask and wait for everything. The chilaquiles with chicken and goat...cheese were very tasty! Hidden away from the tourist crowds!More

I love this place. The decor is really cool, the people are great, the prices are reasonable, and the food is fresh and delicious. Good place for vegetarians and those who want a salad when they're tired of Mexican food. Everything is prepared with great...care, and it's a lovely cafe with an outdoor section that you can hang out in and enjoy a great neighborhood in the Centro.More

Ordered chicken enchiladas. 3 to an order. Plate looked gorgeous. Could only eat 1.5. There was hardly any chicken in what I did eat. It was all thick tortillas. Took the rest home. Great for using a non styrofoam container, but tell me you will...charge for it. Was charged10 pesos for a container when it could have been wrapped in foil like other orders people were taking home. The enchilada I ate for dinner that night was loaded with chicken that was missing from the other ones. Tortillas were very thick. Did not enjoy them and did not eat them.More

This is my 4th visit, and all have been good. Having breakfast this time...Carens favorite, a power smoothie and americano. Make sure to stop in at least once. You’ll be glad you did.
