Go early or you'll wait in line. Never disappointing. Eggs Benedict the best ever! Super coffee and professional waitstaff.

I found this place on Trip Advisor and after sampling the first two reviews we decided to give it a try. The service was prompt, our server spoke very clear, understandable Spanish and was very cheerful and seems to read minds. I had eggs Benedict and the first bite was one of those experiences you know will never be repeated.... More

Try the lavender tea, it was very nice. The coffee was also very good. We had the french toast. It was very different from french toast I have had in the past, but it was good. Get there early, there tends to be a wait.

The down side of this place is that it's too small and too popular. So you will probably have to wait in line. They don't take names, either, so you really do have to wait in line, which can be dangerous because the street is narrow and the sidewalks narrower! But it is definitely worth the wait. Lavender-flavored coffee is a... More

Savory breakfast and brunch items and extraordinary coffee made this cafe a highlight of trip. Loved the Chilaquiles and the coffee with lavender. Really delicious!

A friend and I visited for lunch, on the recommendation of a local. We weren't disappointed. It's a lovely, quaint venue, found in one of the many old and beautiful buildings in the town. The food was good and the staff friendly. Definite recommendation.

You will need to arrive early because the place is small (but not tiny) and a line forms quickly once the first arrivals are seated. We waited 30 minutes for a table for two because we arrived 30 minutes after opening time on a Sunday. Great Mexican dishes done "light" and with much flavor. Chilaquiles and the specialty cazuela dishes... More

Lavanda is nestled in a secret courtyard just down the block from the Palacio de Bellas Artes. You can find it easily, because there is always a line out of the door. Small tables are positioned delicately in a stone garden courtyard alive with couples savoring their late morning breakfast and sipping lavander infused coffees. I had their Huevos Verde... More

One of my favorite places is Lavanda Cafe. I eat there every Sunday when I visit San Miguel. The Lavanda Latte is not only beautiful, it is a wonderful start to a day. And my favorite dish is Cazuela.

Such a lovely place every detail is perfect but over priced and crowded. So many other places to try rather than wait on line.
