Comfortable art filled place with friendly service and well made food and cocktails. Have been several times. Had bratwurst, catfish in potato crush and tuna tartare all very tasty. In past visits pork shank, burger and jagerschnitzle were all fabulous. Great place for hearty appetitesMore

Best German food in town! This place has a loyal following among the expats. The bar is small and crowded. If you want a seat it is best to be there by 5PM.More

Thanks for visiting. Actually, the bar's for anyone and everyone! Our customer profile changes over the course of a single evening - from expats and happy hour folks early to a mix of Mexicans and expats and, later, more Mexican (and younger in general). It's...More

Excellent food in cozy atmosphere. Wednesday is mussels day but reserve them ahead of time! Crunchy shrimp appetizer, Caesar salad with grapefruit are wonderful choices. Everything from burgers to salmon are well-prepared. Service is very good most nights.

I've read some pretty glowing reviews of Berlin so I had high hopes. The reality was a bit less than I'd hoped. The area where we were seated (and another one adjacent) are bright - really bright. It's a dinner restaurant but we were sitting...More

The bar has a potpourri of types: the down and outers on their last round-up, artsy types of all ages, locals meeting each other, etc. This is a good place to relax, have a drink or eat--I did not but the food I saw served...More

Description
Berlin Bar & Bistro is a hub of San Miguel culture where diversity is welcome and ideas flow. Where the music is cool, the drinks generous, and the food delicious. Our menu skews European but is adapted to exploit the freshest meat, fish, farm-raised fowl, and seasonal produce sourced from local village markets. Our rotating exhibitions showcase well-known artists like Peter Leventhal, Terra Mizwa, Jennifer Wolf, Cole Morgan, Gene Johnson, and George Krause--as well as new talent from Mexico and around the world. Our service is gracious, attentive, and easygoing, so even first-timers feel like regulars. Enjoy yourself with friends. Join us at Berlin.
