I was looking forward to brunch with friends at Muro. It began with a weak lukewarm espresso, a cold cappuccino that had to be sent back and progressed to an omelette that was inedible. Management refused to replace the meal for free. That was their call. But it was the rudeness and attitude of staff that shocked us. Continue to... More

This restaurant located to the edge of the city in a very scenic site and the food matches the magical vistas.... the staff are very present but not intrusive ... such a warm greeting each time we have visited... this visit we chose the menu del dia, began with delicious soups, then chili's on negada and chocolate cake to complete... Four of us came for a late breakfast. This is a hidden gem. Service was great. 3 of us had the huevos rancheros with chopped sausage and red sauce. Served with black beans and chips covered with green sauce and cheese. We all loved it. One had the eggs Benedict served with salad which she enjoyed. Can't wait to return... More

I think this place is over-the-top amazing. First, the building is amazingly gorgeous. There are huge windows everywhere and the view is to die for. The waiters are very attentive. It's the only place I know of here in San Miguel de Allende where they continuously keep your coffee cup full. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Given all... More

Muro has built an impressive new location with three levels. But the food is still great. The new location is above the Aurora in the Obraje but just a cab away from Centro. Try the lamb burrito or the eggs Benedict.

It's our new stop on the way home from a swim at Toabada. Soups are numerous and special. The toastada are always crunchy: a bit... More
