We stopped here for lunch one day and loved it so much, we returned another day for breakfast. The food and its presentation is fabulous. The atmosphere is beautiful. It is super clean. The owner is a wonderful man, so friendly and helpful with all of our questions. This restaurant is not just great for San Miguel, it would be... More

I could have breakfast daily here. Great service, Coffee is amazing, fresh orange juice, and delicious Huevos Rancheros with Cecina. I could go on and on, but i would honestly just recommend you to go.

We were in the immediate area and were looking for something nearby when Muro popped up as the closest place. A quick read of the reviews said it was a great spot so we went there. It's not your typical Mexican food (for instance, husband ordered a lamb burrito), but everything we tried was delicious -Burrito Muro, Tacos Muro were... More

Another great time in San Miguel and another couple of visits to Muro. Lunch and breakfast is authentic Mexican. Fresh ingredients, prompt attentive service. The house made bernaise sauce for eggs Benedict is the best I have had. All is made at Muro and it is fresh and tasty. Do not miss it. Before going be aware pesos only no... More

We went to Muro for comida. I had the special: soup, which is so good it makes you want to cry, entree was chicken in mango sauce and grilled vegetables, again really really good. They have homemade rolls, and a special fruit drink, which they will ask if you want, say yes. The food is great, service perfect, decor very... More

Returning to Muro, like coming home. Charming space, delicious breakfast, warm service and well priced. My guests were thrilled with the Eggs Benedict and I love their chilaquiles with the Huevos Mexicanos and frijoles. The rolls served in a basket are little pillows from heaven and the flour tortillas flaky and delicious.

I liked Cafe Muro when I visited, but I don't think I'd return. The food was a bit pricey for SMA and the presentation was lacking... My Eggs Benedict was a good attempt, but the hollandaise sauce tasted of margarine, the "bacon" was just FUD jamon, however the salad which accompanied it was quite good. I thought the decoration was... More

one of our favorites in town ... but expect a line on weekends ... great service with consistently excellent food to match ... kind of a hideaway from the center of town but a short walk and very cost effective

MuRo Named after the two surnames of one of the two guys who own it, Cafe MuRo has been a Loreto Street stayed since May 2010, known for the quality of food and friendship of the staff- Cafe MuRo is a prestigious establishment well known for its cozy and homey atmosphere and popularity with locales and foreigners. Many regulars bring out-of-town visitors who want to get a "feel" of Mexican flavors in a not pretentious place. Some incongruous given its Loreto Street setting, the wood floors, orange walls, hanging ferns and intimate size give Cafe MuRo a warm, simple and very traditional San Miguel feeling. Unless you are heading to Handcrafts Market (Mercado de las Artesanias), you might miss this little and lovely restaurante. Cafe MuRo is much more a pleasant than the location might suggest. Not much to look at from the street, until you spy the delicacies within. The menu consists of simple, well-cooked, fresh and traditional Mexican food. Wonderful home-bread and soups, salad, good-sized portions, and fair prices make it a great place for everybody. Staff is friendly and helpful. When you come to MuRo, you are guaranteed a good meal and friendly service everybody time. Highlights include breakfast all day, a salad to die for and strong Mexican cofee that will knock you out. We assure you that once you are sitting in Cafe MuRo enjoying its food and service, you might want to stay longer that you originally tought! See you soon!
