Heard from some friends this was suppose to be a great place for breakfast. It has not disappointed. We have already been there 2x this week. A small place and during the week it was EASY to get a table. A bit tougher on the weekend so get there earlier. Get the chilaquiles and Jugo Verde! They bring the red... More

Enjoyed real Mexican seasoning, relaxed and cousy environment. Delicious sopes, quesadillas, Queso fundido . Salsas also very good. If you are craving traditional Mexican food this is a great option.

We enjoyed our breakfast here so much that we went back a second time. Food is excellent, coffee and hot chocolate were great. Service was friendly and efficient. I'm sorry we never made it back for lunch or dinner!

Fairly small place with a line out the front (always a good sign). Well worth the wait. Best chili rellenos arround

I popped in with friends at lunchtime and was thrilled with the food and the service. My pina agua de fruta was the most delicious nonalcoholic beverage that I've had in Mexico. The portions are huge. I ordered the carnitas tacos and got four at lunch served with guacamole and pickled peppers, tomatoes and queso. I'm going back today for... More

This place is small but pretty. The food is typical and with good taste. It is near for the church but without the loud sound. It is nice for a good talking

I meet up with my niece here for breakfast. Always delicious - local Mexican classics and simple, standard food available. Cafe selection is great. Service is attentive and English spoken. Just a block from the Jardin.

El Correo is in an excellent location just a block and a half from the town center. It's a popular restaurant, so get there early if you need to be somewhere later on. I found the service, and foods to be excellent, and the atmosphere to be quaint.

We stopped at El Correo while visiting the historic district in San Miguel de Allende. The restaurant was recommended by our traveling companions on this trip. At first glance you would think that this is not a place that you might want to stop. El Correo is extremely casual with a small seating area, wooden chairs and tables. And, outrageously... More

This is a restaurant which serves few gringos who seem to love places which are tailored for serving the expat population. El Correo has excellent food and wonderful service. it's a brief walk from the Jardin and when we were there we went to El Correo 3 times. Gets 4.5 stars in my book. It deserves to be reviewed on TripAdvisor.
