A charming setting on a lush bluff with mountains in the distance. The restaurant and setting are beautiful, Romaric, and relaxing. We had steak and ribs. Delicious food and attentive service.

We love visiting Nirvana, sitting above the valley, listening to the birds. It's too bad the food isn't as good as the setting. We keep giving this place another chance. We visit once or twice a year thinking it may improve. It obviously won't. Watery watermelon soup, two orders of salmon ordered medium - one arrived undercooked and one severely... More

We had dinner here after a blissful day at nearby La Gruta. The tables in the garden were perfect for sunset. The basil sherbet in the salad was a delightful surprise and the delicate squash blossom sauce with the ravioli was perfect!

It is a great great place near san miguel the allende. It is a boutique hotel, with an excellent restaurant. Food is great but the staff, the view, the place its just amazing.

The setting was great, but the food and service was not as good as expected. We ordered a Dragon Roll as Appetizer which was shown as containing eel, but instead they substituted shrimp. Flavors over-all were rather bland and the main dishes overcooked.

We were returning from Sanctuary of Atotonilco and stopped here for lunch....surprising retreat in the middle of the countryside! Extremely relaxing to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the weather & great food.

If you are a Bar B Q lover you will love this place. Set in peaceful surroundings , the BBQ food comes in platters for four with salads. The platters include potatoes, pork, beef, chicken and sausages. A meat lovers dream. Great wines and beer to wash it down. The venue is 10 minutes about of town but worth the drive.

A wonderful lunch on the lawn - a short path, next door to Galeria Atoetonilco. BQ Arrachura sandwich was one of the best I've had.

During our visit to San Miguel de Allende we drove to the nearby town Delores Hilalgo to look at how they produce local pottery. The concierge at our hotel recommended that we stop for lunch along the way at Nirvana which is about a half our from San Miguel de Allende. The location and the restaurant are beautiful, the atomsphere... More
