I love the setting, the service and, most of all, the food. Chef Ana Lilia Galindo Chávez is delightful and offers an eclectic menu with Mexican, Spanish and Swiss overtones. The menu, featuring homemade soups and pastas, salads, appetizers and entrees, has become my favorite for lunch. We sat in the charming garden yesterday under umbrellas and enjoyed the light... Four of us had dinner last week at Chamonix. It was mid week so it was quiet. The service, wine choices and food were excellent. We sat in the garden with soft lighting. We had a throughly enjoyable dinner.

Wine and bread were good. Started off with escargo followed by sea bass. Wife had heart of palm salad and salmon fettuccine. All were prepared well by the kitchen and the service was great. We plan to return soon.

Have known and frequented this restaurant for many years. It never disappoints. My only criticism would be the limited dessert menu.

Very good quality on this french restaurant, all the options we tried were very well presented and the flavour was excellent. The setting is very relaxing as the place is small and cozy. Attention was very personal and the wine list was ample and with reasonable prices. Very well located.

We opted out to eat at the upscale, expensive "The Restaurant" and instead walked across the street to Chamonix, a well known tiny restaurant frequented by expats in-the-know. And we were glad we did. The cuisine is International with French tendencies. In the back of a corridor is a quaint open courtyard with striped umbrellas. It is one dining spot.... More

Description
Chef Ana Lilia Galindo serves up a globe-spanning menu in Chamonix's cozy, hearth-warmed dining room. The specialty here is the aptly named Swiss fillet— medallions of beef wrapped in ham and cheese. But frequent fliers will also be pleased by traditional Mexican dishes like beef-stuffed poblano chiles, spicy Sri Lankan curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, and an array of fresh pastas. In fine weather, the pretty outdoor terrace is a lovely place to linger.
