We were there on a slow dining night and had a wonderful evening. - Atmosphere: it was a cool, January San Miguel evening and we were able to set next to the fireplace. The overall setting is beautiful and elegant. - Food: The butter was truly interesting & delicious accented with a Jaimaica salt. My favorite was actually an appetizer,... More

This is the hotel restaurant of Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada. Most of time we have been there for the breakfast, because of our stay in the hotel. We enjoyed perfectly prepared dishes for the breakfast. The different egg dishes were perfectly presented and very yummy. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

We took a break from the local cuisine for a more continental meal and although the service was good and the background music nice, the food was modest and nothing special. Included in the fixed price was a mimosa or a margarita (I had to ask, it wasn't offered) and we had a frozen margarita that was fantastic! Can't say... More

Andanza, located in the Sierra Nevada Hotel near the Jardin, is a favorite. My husband and I have enjoyed perfectly prepared dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we often pop in to the hotel's Blue Bar for a relaxing pre-dinner cocktail. The staff (Gabriella, Israel, Andreas, Alfredo and Jonathan) is always friendly and attentive.

Since it is part of the hotel where we stayed, we ate there every morning. The various huevos dishes were exceptional. We were equally impressed with a couple of dinners we ate there also. The cuisine is an elegant rendition of traditional Mexican dishes.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening in this Courtyard Restaurant. The food was an authentic Mexican experience with a beautiful presentation. The flavors were amazing. We met the young innovative Chef. Our servers were professional and attentive. We will return to this gem of a spot, again. It's perplexing as to the lower ranking on this Trip Advisor... More

This was the restaurant attached to our hotel and whilst we wanted to explore the city and try out different restaurants we kept coming back! We only ate the Mexican dishes which were delicious and reasonably priced. It is a shame that it isn't higher on trip advisor as we tried out some of the very highly rated restaurants which... More
