We live in Las Vegas and tonight's meal would have easily cost $350 to $400. We paid 1900 pesos and a 22% tip. Under $120 usd. We had one appetizer, 2 of most expensive entrees, 3 cocktails, one dessert, 2 special coffees.
We started with...one taco baja which was a perfectly breaded soft shell crab with yummy sauce. Forgot to take picture!
The patio is heated and looks directly at the famous church spires. Beautiful.
Too bad we leave tomorrow!
The food and service were outstanding! Highly recommend the pork and pear and the tuna! The wait staff were friendly and warm. Very low key jazz music was perfect!!
Had lunch down the road from here and the music was blaring !
This restaurant is...romantic and elegant. We will be back for sure!More
First of all the people are wearing mask when you enter and act like police and force to scan you like a product on the grocery shelf.
force you to put chemical on your body...BUT NOW yOU can not go into the centro to go...to those restaurants because all the entrances have a set up the you have to walk throught Chemicals sprayed on your whole body. SO not entering those restaruants.
We spent $2000 pesos and the fish I ordered, not many options, was like the chef poured a cup of salt on it....... I think the only thing i liked was the cappacino and the cesar salad was ok. Another, time i went ther i had the tak maki fish and it did not taste so good either.More
After a morning of exploring, walking and shopping, we stopped here for a break. It was a really love rooftop where we enjoyed sangria, lunch and some time to catch our breath. There was inside dining down below but would recommend the rooftop. We would...go back!More
A pretty rooftop restaurant with good food! Dined here a few weeks ago, and despite the chilly weather, my son and I enjoyed ourselves thanks to blankets and heaters provided by the staff. I had a delicious burrata salad and tasty pork in a pear...and beet sauce; that dish tasted yummy; however, I found the pork to be too fatty to rave about it. My son loved his shortribs done to perfection. The ambiance is really nice, and I hope to make a return visit and order something else as I think, overall, the food is excellent!More
My wife and I ate on the rooftop patio of this restaurant on our last night in San Miguel. It was an appropriate selection for the occasion. We got to enjoy fine food, indicative of the cuisine in this picturesque town, and take in the...view of the Jardin and Parroquia, sealing that lovely image in our memories.
I had the red snapper, pressure sealed and then broiled to preserve the moisture of the meat, with roasted potatoes and veggies in a butter sauce. My wife had a chicken breast, sauteed in a Morita sauce, with a mixed green salad and roasted potatoes. Both dishes were perfectly prepared.
If we had to levy a criticism, it would be directed toward the service. As most people know, service at Mexican restaurants can be delivered at a liesurely pace. Expect it and deal with it. If you want fast service, go to Milwaukee! Unfortunately, this establishment took that practice to extremes. We waited an inordinate time to be seated, order and receive drinks, order and receive food, and pay our bill.More
