This is a great place for a romantic dinner! The rooftop terrace is stunning and the food was great. The Peking duck tacos, ceviches, and tiradito were all exceptional. And the bar menu is great, with some of the best cocktails in town. Definitely try...to time your dinner with sunset for an incredible show.More

I cannot believe the bad reviews! We were in SMA for 9 days and this was the one restaurant we returned to a second time. We ate both times late afternoon/ early eve and we did not have reservations. Food was wonderful and prices very...reasonable. Several of us got catch of the day fish, salmon or seafood taco. Drinks delicious. Service great. We went to other upscale places ( Qince, Roeswood Hotel) and they didn’t come close to this restaurant.More

I went with my mother , aunt and cousin , four women. The manager / owner Mario was highly offensive, discriminatory and insulting. I totally agree with the last review, AVOID the bad moment there are a lot of beautiful rooftops in san miguel eith...better view and service. This place was the worse thing in san miguel. I highly recommend NOT TO GOMore

This place is not to be confused with the Michelin star restaurant in Oaxaca although at the entry the individuals checking you in seem to think so. If you like great views with pretentious staff…then continue to make your reservation. My first try at this...place was unsuccessful…as the staff unapologetically lost my reservation. The hostess did try to inquire as what to do….but the Manager did not even make eye contact and just shook his head without hesitation. I actually recorded the reservation but despite showing the call and the number which they acknowledged was theirs, they turned us away…. I recommend NOT calling but if you must…Make your reservation in Person and have your photo taken with the person making the reservation..More

Great food, the staff are fantastic, and the view of the Parroquia is spectacular!! Their Baja taco is one of my favorite starters. Their short rib entree melts in your mouth.

Truly enjoyed the salmon and the deserts. My party of 7 enjoyed every meal. The location is superb across from the main church and fireworks at night were a nice touch.

For appetizers, we had the white fish ceviche and the tuna ceviche. Honestly, the two ceviches I’ve ever had. Red snapper for an entree. Honestly, every dish we had was outstanding. And all at a fair price. I highly recommend this place.

By far the best restaurant experience in San Miguel. Atrio keeps delivering in food quality, decor and service. While at times the staff is not as convivial as others, maybe it is more a case of communication.

We wanted to try the Atrio because appears as a recommendation but it is a real shame a place very recommended has a very antipathetic hosted, and also disappointed because the place privileges the smokers over the non smokers, the non smoking area is one...quarter respecting to the smoking are… so if you bring kids your liked to be placed in a very small area and crowded considering we are still in pandemia… but the worst part is the hostess as I said so antipathetic and when we asked to make a commentary about having so small area for non smoking people she just said “yes, yes” in a very careless attitude.More

My wife and I came for cocktails one night, and were so blown away that we came back for dinner and drinks later that week. My wife raved over the Mezcal with tamarind. I ended up getting a mocktail: a lemonade with mint over crushed...ice, and it was the best lemonade I've ever had. Sunset is pretty magical with the views of the nearby churches. The service was simply outstanding during dinner.More

Decided to give this place another chance. Didn’t make it as the receptionist was so unbelievably arrogant. She was curt, rushed and so downright rude she hung up on me. She spoke as if she were doing me the favor of even speaking to me....Everything was negative & her voice showed she hates her job. This place has a great view and that seems to be it. They don’t need to have good decent service. Never ever going again as insults and humiliation are not my thing. Plenty of other good places here with great service. Such a shame.More

Lovely roof top setting next door to the Cathedral. Professional, yet charming. Good food and wine selection. Comfortable Seemed popular with locals. Not the most expensive nearby, but close to it. Very pleasant lunch.

We ate twice at Altria during 10 days in SMA and would keep going back. We did not find the rooftop views to be best we encountered in the city, but the decor and the terrace are lovely, and we relished the food. On both...visits, we made a meal of starters. Our favorites were the Beijing duck tacos, but the soft shell crab tacos were a close second - as were the vegetables. Look under “sides” for the AMAZING asparagus turned in honey and coated in toasted almond slivers. Probably not a diet food but, hey, vacations are not diet opps. We found the mezcal Margaritas smooth and refreshing, but a companion suggested avoiding the martini. The choices for follow-up wine by the coppa were solid. We get the complaints about service. Ours was a bit uneven — warm/attentive on one visit but more cool, though efficient, on the other. Overall, the restaurant has a bit of a self-important vibe, but it did not get in the way of the sunset or the food so, if we were still in SMA, a third visit would be in the cards.More

I would call them - the number is in the tripadvisor description. We went there without reservations - around 7 and still got a table but later on a reservation is useful. Try the pulled pork burgers - it‘s incredible.
