Quality of food and beverages is good, despite it is a very small place, I recommend it. The main attraction for me was the decoration and service, definitely a must-try in San Miguel de Allende.

I had to make a 1 hour line for this churros. Incredible, waiting in the street for a take out. They were very good and very reasonably priced but would never wait that long again.

I had tried to go in for a while, because it was so recommended. It just would not happen for there is always a line to get in! I was impressed. I finally did one Monday morning ad understood the reason why it is so popular. I tried the florentine eggs, which I shared with someone. I would have never... More

Very good chocolate and churros. The only bad thing is that the place is quite small and gets really crowded. Still, a good choice

Whats not to love with its filled Nutella! We has breakfast here, loved the meat Empanada and the Nutella Churro though i would have liked the churro to be a little more fresh.

I walk by this restaurant almost every day, and many times there is a line of people waiting to get in the door. It is a small restaurant, so that may be one of the reasons. I assumed that the other reasons were its food, service and/or ambiance. Today I got in right away, and was seated at the back/side... More

San Agustín is a Mexican Restaurant in the center of San Miguel that specializes in "churros" and hot chocolate. Churros are a Spanish tradition and by now adopted by Mexican culture. They are finger long fried-dough pastries, sprinkled with a sugar coating and served with hot chocolate.. Needless to say addictive, people stand in line for hours just to get... More

If you've been to El Moro in Mexico City and enjoyed their churros and chocolate, you'll like San Augustin just as much. It's a tiny place on Calle San Francisco that can't be missed. There's usually a line of people out front waiting to get in. Although they offer more than just desserts, we went there for churros and hot... More

I've eaten here three times now & all my late lunches have been excellent. I've eaten tastodos pollo (3), pollo enchilada suizas and a breakfast Spanish potato/egg/onion. You have to get here either early for lunch or late because I've seen lines outside the door. I think it's reasonable, quality and value. One time I walked in and there was... More
