I have not eaten at TL...yet. It is an inviting venue across the street from the Teatro. A great location. I have been there twice to listen to the music, and get the Irish coffee. A local blog recommended the coffee. I am not a big after dinner drink person. But, the taste and presentation of this libation is worth... More

They serve food as in the 80's when presentation wasn't important, now dishes look goo. The place itself is beautiful and service is very friendly and professional, the food isn't bad but it's time to bring a new chef who knows what he's actually doing.

Some of us had soup and salad ; others had steaks-- all delicious. This place was full-- U S tourists, Mexican tourists, and San Miguel residents-- both Mexican and international-- all agree-- it's the place to be-- across the street from Teatro Angela Peralta-- where the musical programs are being presented!

Portions way to big! Meat for fajitas over cooked. Felt deceived! Martini too small and watered! Wine good! Nice convenient location and nice atmosphere.

This is a beautiful and vibrant restaurant. Great jazz--mellow and cool. And amazingly enough the food is excellent too. The owner is very attentive and decorates the place with Mexican art--rotating the pieces to keep it interesting. When we were there the place was full of black beautiful Catrina dolls unique to a specific cultural group.Great stakes, salads and tuna.... More

I've been a few times. Food is not great but ok. Prices are touristy but not crazy. We like the atmosphere. But We had cesar salad prepared at the table with shrimp which was undercooked so we asked them to cook it more. The salads came back with cooked shrimp, soggy salad (they should have made a new one) and... More

We dined here twice, partly to enjoy the many Catrina dolls decorating the place, partly because of the personal attention of the manager, partly because of the service, and partly because it is directly across the street from the theatre, where we enjoyed two nights of classical music performed as a part of the annual music festival here. The food... More

Our first meal in town turned put to be our favorite. My ribeye steak was simply excellent. The music and setting were a delight. Highly recommended.

Class act all across the board. High quality beef and seafood. Always good music that doesnt overwhelmed your dining experience. Located right across from the Teatro - it can get busy right after performances. Owner Max and sfaff always greet you like they saw you yesterday. Special occasions treated with appreciation and the decor is outstanding. My favorite item on... More

First class, good food, excellent service. The owner is constantly checking everything. At night they have live music.
