This is my 6th visit to SMA in 11 years and I have eaten at Bugambilla each time. It has recently been relocated to Mesones, and has lost its beautiful and charming atmosphere. The walls and decor felt junky and dirty. The menus were faded and grimy. The service was extremely slow. As always, I ordered the Chiles en Nogada,... More

We were the only ones in the restaurant and they took forever. The service was terrible. Food was flavorless. Go somewhere else.

The Bugambilia in the 80´s was a pretty good place and given the status it had back in the days, it´s sad to see it so average. Below average. Mu husband and I tried it just to see what had changed and it was so disappointing. Aside from a poor ambiance the food was just noting to write home about.... More

We came to this restaurant after the high energy activity of a Semana Santa procession, looking for some calm as well as a good dinner reasonably priced. We got it all. I love the feeling in this place, especially the fountain gurgling in the middle of the restaurant. My husband enjoyed his third run at his favourite, chiles en nogada,... More

Very authentic local Mexican food ! We first ate here 30 years ago. Under the same ownership . Try the local favorites, ask the waitress what the most popular dishes are?

New staff and a new but similar menu create a better experience for diners. Enchiladas verdes were very good, and others loved the quesadillas.

Great margaritas and two for one from 3-7pm. What a deal. Basic Mexican fare done very well. A great spot for a big group dinner. Everyone loves their chiles en nogada. I love their guacamole.

One of the oldest restaurants in San Miguel. We went for drinks and Tapas. The shrimp tacos were delicious with a bit of pineapple thrown in.
