We had four wonderful meals over four days in Tamaulipas, but Los Hurricanes topped them all. The three of us had an abundance of seafood including oysters, seafood soup, calamari, crob cocktail, a shrimp entrée, and six alcoholic beverages between us, and we were shocked at how reasonable the price was, at least compared to comparable quality meals in hometown Oaxaca. Ambiance was inviting, service exquisite, food equally so. We can't wait to return to Tampico! Simply amazing.

Curricanes has an already long and good reputation for good seasoning in the Region... It says here that "if you come to Tampico and they don't eat in the Curricanes, it's like if you hadn't come to Tampico" I recommend tasting the fried rice, the Miller shrimp, as well as the tacos governors... Great place to meet up and dine with friends. Friendly atmosphere. Good food selection - mainly seafood. That's what you come here for. There are apparently 2 outlets of this restaurant in Tampico. Popular with families and others too.

The best seafood in all of northeast Mexico

We went to Los Curricanes as a recommendation from a local friend, while on a trip on north east México. The experience was delightful. The waiter knew every dish by memory and the manager came to check constantly. They even treat us with a delicious dessert as they were so glad about our visit from outside of town and our comments. I definitely would come back without thinking twice about my decision whenever visiting or even passing by Tampico. Superve food and awesome service.

Javier Martinez, Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of me and my business partner during our visit to the Los Curricanes in Tampico today for lunch. You and your staff were so very accommodating, attentive and kind. The food was outstanding, so delicious and what a thoughtful gesture to send us the dessert on the house It was not expected and very much appreciated. We had a great expirience and you and your staff helped to make it that way! We will be back soon for sure!
