We were walk-ins on a drizzly day for an early dinner. Staff were quick to respond, friendly and understanding of our three small children. Their kids' dinners of fries and chicken nuggets and burger were good quality and cheap, considering the ice cream afterwards. My cod was well prepared and the veggies were well seasoned tasty and reasonably crisp. I loved my beurre blanc and mash, though maybe a bit too much was happening on my plate with all the different flavours. Hubby's mussels with camembert were a nice surprise. The setting was nice too and inside looked fine, though a bit cramped, like all typically French restaurants are, if you know what I mean 🙂. The toilet was clean, though there were no (paper) towels. I would visit again.

Friendly welcome. We didn't know we could also sit inside, because at the front you feel like you're sitting in a cafeteria. Shrimp panko was tasty, but clearly from a packet. Fish soup didn't taste fresh either. Mussels were very tasty, fries too. Large portions. Dessert of the day was a lemon tartlet, sounded delicious, but was small and prefabricated and not homemade. Taste was very disappointing and cost 10 euros. For us the good reviews were unfortunately not true

Pleasant, fast and efficient staff. Varied and tempting menu. Dishes tasted that day delicious. The cuttlefish with chorizo are really excellent. The lamb shank with honey is a must: Hearty portion, optimal cooking. The honey softens the slightly strong side of this piece of meat, the marriage of the two is very successful. The meat and vegetable accompaniment form a balanced and original combination. The presentation was perfect and the serving on a deep, piping hot plate kept the dish hot until the end.

Meal with friends by the beach, there are 2 of us having mussels and fries, our meal arrives with 10 fries fighting a duel. We ask if it is possible to add a few fries, we are told that it is extra, no worries we will pay, and there a tiny bowl of fries with even fewer fries than on the plate we paid for. still 5 EUROS! I don't mind talking about inflation but in this restaurant you won't get what you pay for, no vinaigrette for a poke, 3 tiny slices of bread, I do not recommend this restaurant, the price-quality level is mediocre, a real tourist trap.

I don't understand the positive reviews: we ate dishes that weren't worth their prices, vegetables that tasted better than frozen, tasteless soup with a "perfect" egg that wasn't cooked at all (the white separated from the yolk, not cooked in the soup), tiramisu whose biscuit was not soaked in coffee. Very expensive considering the quality served. Trap for unobservant tourists.

We had dinner there last night. For us it was mussels and fries which was very good. Homemade fries! Good beer list (chouffe, tripel karmeliet...) Liégeois coffee dessert made for me with an espresso it's been a long time since I had such a good Liégeois coffee. Service could be improved but tolerable given that it was the August 15 bridge. We were pleasantly surprised for a "beach restaurant" during a weekend full of tourists

We never write reviews but we often consult trip before choosing a restaurant. As a result, we found a big discrepancy between certain opinions and our experience, which is what pushed us to post an opinion. The service was very good. 2 smiling people, attentive to our needs and very friendly with our children (loan of books, coloring books, etc.). Very good food. We ate burger, steak, children's menu and prawns then desserts. Small downside on the pavlova, lack of meringue, quality of fruit and fries which are not homemade. So yes it’s a small budget but we feel that it’s mainly fresh products, a desire to do a good job. Thank you for this meal

A disappointing welcome, non-existent service but good quality dishes. We arrived and were placed on an unserved table. After more than 20 minutes, the table was still not served or cleaned. We had to ask and the waiter was rude when asking for the menu and cleaning the table. His response “a little hello and a smile, and it will be better” except on all that had done…. The person who placed us had forgotten us… After 30 minutes, our order is taken but the wrong dishes arrive… We had taken a carafe of wine and water. We had the wine but had to ask for the water… When the waiter cleared the dish, he removed the wine glass even though the carafe was not finished! The bread never made it to our place…. In short, to summarize, taking on inexperienced people for service on a sunny weekend is a bad idea. It’s the art of taking steps for nothing. Instead of serving one table and serving the one next to it, they take unnecessary steps. In short, a good table but service with zero points.

Great discovery, small and pretty restaurant. We were made very welcome there, as was our Loulou 🐶. We ate very well there and it was delicious. The boss, I presume, was alone in the service and she managed it masterfully 👍🏻👍🏻 and always with a smile 😃 well done to her and the team.

Lovely food, massive potion of mussels

We went on the first night of our weeks holiday, Saturday night, we had not booked but they fit us is on a table outside, unfortunately a storm came so we all was moved inside. We had a starter and then mains, I have mussels and my husband had cod, the potion size was good, and food lovely. We spent most of night there as raining and wasn't rushed to leave. The only problem was no English menu and my husband is allergic to nuts so we had to use google to translate the menu. We would have had another visit over the next week but it didn't open again - although the website and here said it was open. Shame, up to date info would be good as we could of planned to go out on town had we known.

Not a lot of diversity on this restaurant's menu - mainly burgers and mussels, fish and chips and a couple of more traditional dishes - which sometimes is actually good (better chance it is all homemade). The quality is okay, service is a bit slow. So I'd rate it average, compared to other places I've been, though nothing actively wrong with this place.

We visited twice while staying in the area, once just for a quick coffee while passing but the second time for an evening meal with family. The choice of food was very good ( I really do not understand the previous comment about lack of choice !!!) We tried a wide variety of dishes, cod, curry, burgers and mussels and all were very well prepared. The deserts were also very good again our table had a selection including creme brûlée, ice cream and chocolate fondant. We didn't try the other restaurants in the area however I felt this was very good food at a very reasonable price, recommended

Found this place through trip advisor and thanks all for your helpful reviews. The restaurant is modern and the staff very friendly. The food was very good with a modern twist. Best to book in holiday season.
