Friendly service, honest food

We stopped for lunch at Santa Fe in June 2020. Small yet packed place even with the Covid pandemic. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The galettes and crêpes were honest and filing and prices were still reasonable for a beach front. Not a restaurant I would drive out of my way to patron, but fine for a family lunch.

Fantastic Gallettes

We tried to have lunch at Cabourg but it was packed with Saturday people and all of th roads to the center of the village were blocked. We continued on to Merville-Franceville-Plage-Fanceville-Plage and found Le Santa Fe. The Salade Nicoise was to die for and the Gallettes were superb. Wait staff were very nice and spoke good English. Must go to place.!

Food here is far better than we expected

We went here as only next door was open - the food was good, the service quick, As there was only here and next door open it was busy, we were packed in but this didn't matter. we had a starter and main (pizza chips and salad) we ordered far too much and couldn't eat it all. Either way cheapest meal during our week and much nicer than the place on the corner next door.

Very unhappy and angry. The SANTA FE is open from 19:00. I call for an order of 2 pizzas to go at 19:05 and no one picks up. I come across an answering machine that tells me I can't leave a message. I decided to go, to hear myself told by the boss’ daughter that tonight (Thursday, August 28) the pizzeria no longer takes orders. I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened and I’m very disappointed... what’s the point of having a loyalty card and posting Takeout on the window if not to honor the orders of these former customers? Victim of its success, I no longer recommend this restaurant.

Thin pizza, with little taste, too few ingredients, arrived lukewarm (I know there is wind which can cool it). menu too vast to find quality, and yet its terrace is full at lunchtime and in the evening🤔. OK welcome, but without the desire 🤷.

Inaccepatble customer treatment

No customer orientation whatsoever. Could not and did not want to solve a trivial seating issue. Denied service. I consulted the restaurant chef. But he did not care for the issue and left in mid-sentence without any comment. Inacceptable behaviour. Cannot recommend to eat in a place where customers are treated like that. I recommend the beach bistro 50 Meter down the road though. Good food and a customer is still treated as such.

Good place for a family dinner

Decided to eat here as there seemed to be a lot of local people eating there, which is usually a good sign. It was as we ate there on two nights. The food was cooked to order,so you had to wait which is not a problem. We could watch the kitchen from our table as it is not a big eating area. All the food we had was very good. The staff were all really good, friendly and pleasant to deal with. It is also dog friendly as we were able to take the dog with us, which is always good.

Perfect moules!

Visited this restaurant on the last day of our holiday and wish we had eaten there before. Lovely food and very friendly staff. This restaurant was full of people, while several nearby were almost empty, and that why we decide to eat here. Recommended.

Nice dinner

It's not a full scale restaurant, so adapt your expectations, but considering this it was a brilliant dinner with good food and really nice personnel! We enjoyed well prepared galette, pizza and crepe. All to recommend!

A pleasant place to eat

We ate here twice during our recent holiday. The menu was not extensive unless you like pizza or crepes. Staff were friendly but service a little slow. Food was a good average but not exceptional, and reasonably priced. If you are dining here, we would recommend you try the seafood which was by far the best offering.

Had a reasonable meal but felt that it was lacking that something to be able to give it a 4 or more. We thought that the meal was a bit on the expensive side for what you get. However you do need to book to guarantee an inside table.

Brilliant lunch stop

Took a group of 14 here for lunch, and nothing was too much trouble. The place is small unless the weather is good and you can sit outside. Food is cooked to order and looks to be a husband and wife team. Excellent value for lunch with good range of food and drinks. Short walk to the beach and easy parking nearby.
