A friendly establishment in the ancient village of Sant'Antonino. We just came to refresh ourselves after a morning of driving and sight-seeing in the Balagne. I ordered one of my favourite French thirst-quenchers: a sirop de menthe and a carafe of water, my partner a Pietra ambrée. The most important aspect of this restaurant for me is the unique, prominent... More

Had a great time here, the view is breath taking. The staff is very prompt and the food is good. I recommend asking for a table with seats, not couches and also brink a sweater or something, it does get a bit chilly after the sunset. they do offer blankets.

We cycled from Calvi to Sant Antonino and we were really rewarded having lunch at this place. Great view on the roof top and the food was fantastic. We probably ate the best chicken ever with a side of 3 different quinoa types! The dessert was a fabulous creme brulée (a "true" one where you could crack the caramelized sugar... More

Lots of stairs to the top of the hilltop village but worth the climb for the sensational 360degree view from the top of the world. Food very good

Even if the food was mediocre, the view itself would have earned an 'excellent' rating from me! But the food was quite good also, and the 'big salads' really were quite big, with a good variety of Corsican delights! We struggled with high winds that day (fine for us, but not so much for 3 year old!), but it was... More

The hilltop village of Sant'Antonino is something out of a fairytale - and I Scalini is out of this world! The owner operators, Jean-Luc and Patricia Lucchetti-Bouhet are warm and welcoming and Patricia's unique decor adds to the charm. Everything is fresh and local, including the olive oil I enjoyed with the fresh bread, which I also used to sop... More

We had lunch there and it was great. A unique decorated restaurant on top of a unique village. The food was good too. Pâté scalini and a lasagne du jour. The waiter was amazing. But it was for lunch and a little bit early in season. The restroom was a big surprise!

We visited Sant'Antonino on Thursday October 4, 2012. A highlight of our visit was I Scalini at the top level of this beautiful village. We had a light lunch - a pichet of red wine, a salad, some bruschetta and a couple of espressos. The food was good, the prices reasonable, the two guys running the place were great, the... More

Interesting proposal of what I would qualify as 'world cuisine' (sushi, coconut milk/ ginger jumbo shrimps, calamari, sirloin, etc. ) The cuisine was good, not thrilling. The bread was really not good, they need to improve that. Other 'don't like': they accept dogs. My friend had our neighbors' dog lying on his feet. Starter and main dish and 2 glasses... More
