Best pub in Caldicot. The food is excellent and the staff are charming. Great place to be in the summer. Beer garden is in a hotspot. During the winter months a great open log fire. Feel an adult pub and the beer choice is always excellent. Try it, you won't regret it.

We visited this pub twice during our stay in Caldicot as the options are very few and far between. Great pub to enjoy a pint and wood fire especially on a cooler day outside.

This cosy little pub served very tasty food. Service was great - very friendly and accommodating and it seemed a popular choice for many locals. Cheap, delicious food with a good atmosphere made for an enjoyable meal.

We have eaten here quite a few times now. Always a good selection on the menu. Always beautifully presented, tasty and good value for money. Advisable to book but they will usually try to accommodate you in if they can. Pensioners lunch is available but can get quite busy.

As usual we cannot fault the Castle for warmth and a great welcome. It was my birthday so we went for a nice relaxing meal knowing the food is always good. I had the burger with bacon and blue cheese, absolutely amazing delicious. One of the best burgers you can get. If you haven't been here please try at least... More

This is my second review of the Castle, bit this time we had a festive meal as we were away for Christmas out of the country. We booked it nice and early in the evening due to flying out early the next day. As always the bar staff are friendly and talkative and the fire was burning nice and hot... More

This is my second review of this place and yet again it's a disappointment. Sprouts were cooked to mush. Yorkshire pudding was inedible and I asked if they'd put parmesan in it and was told there was no dairy in there at all, but then they'd just be flour.... roast potatoes were rubbery. Pudding was nice though plum crumble very... More
