Yummiest food. The food was super yummy, came really fast, our waiter was attentive and friendly. Recommend getting multiple things cause they are all worth trying to be honest.

this place is on the corner on the Main Street in Tulum. We had three different types of tacos and the food was great. The sauces make the tacos taste so good!

This was the cheapest restaurant meal we had in Tulum and one of the best! The al pastor meat is grilled and cut right on the street and it was recommended in the reviews so we made sure to get it. Almost all the food...on the menu was under a dollar (USD - although it is cash only and the prices are in pesos). It is a local spot where you'll also see some tourists (they have an English menu). There was live music when we went on a Thursday night. I wasn't thrilled by the horchata but the tacos and tostadas were great.More

We really wanted to try at least one local place where there weren’t any tourists. We were recommended this restaurant by a staff member in our hotel. Definitely felt very local (or not, because we stood out like the tourists we were), but thoroughly enjoyed...it! It’s fast paced, nothing fancy, loud live local music and good food. We ordered various tacos (and styles of tacos) from the menu to try different things. All quite good. Would recommend if you want something different from the typical tourist packed restaurants in the area!More

This is such a fun place with an open kitchen. Better yet the tacos are delicious. A very authentic taco place with an even better price.

This place is sensational. By far the best food we’ve had during our travels in Mexico. And so reasonably priced!

Anytime I see trompo, I will try it, and this place had some of the best I have ever eaten, US or Mexico!!! No complaints on service and the prices were excellent! Great green sauce as well.

without a doubt the best tostados al pastor in town. So delicious, freshly made and extremely good price for such a great quality. service is very friendly, accomendation is simple but perfect for this type of food. Highly recommended! they also serve all other types...of tacos, like panuchos, gringas, quesadillas, etc, but I would definitely go for the tostados, yummmmieMore

We stopped here for lunch after our tour and were promptly seated. Our group of 3 ordered various tacos and although 2 orders were mixed up, the food was incredibly good home made. We ate a huge meal for $25 with beers. This has a...street feel without worrying about getting sick. The carne asada, chicken and pastor gringas and tacos are incredible.More

I usually don't leave many bad reviews but wow. This places service was awful and that's saying something since I'm a patient person. After being seated, my girlfriend and I waited 10 minutes (in a rather empty patio) before we even got to order our...drinks. Another 25 minutes later we finally got our food. People who came in after us were getting their drinks and food way before us. I guess because we looked like tourists. The food? Ugh. Bland and no flavor at all. The only thing that was actually great was the licuado. If you want real tacos that are bigger and much tastier - visit Taqueria Honoria.More

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review, but it's long overdue. La Chiapaneca is a must when you visit Tulum. Every time we visit Tulum, we have lunch there. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly....Definitely try the pastor.More

If you are short on time and up for a snack-type food, this is the place to visit in Tulum! This is a typical local taco joint where one can get in and out quick. The food (Al Pastor and Quesadillas) is good and the...place serves beer, as well. Beer and tacos are the best combination when time is a factor and wanting to satisfy hunger before showring and preparing for a night out in town.More

The pastor tacos were great, the chicken was just ok. The service was quick and the prices were great. Would recommend for a quick stop for the pastor but not for the chicken.

Food is good and price is fair. The server was a little slow but overall is good, after all he was the only server at the time and we were 8 people.

There's a toppings bar but it's not like American type tacos. There's some salsas and some pickled radishes and onions. They speak English well enough to help you order. GO!
