The main attraction here is the serene location. Food was good too. We had the shrimp quesadillas (ok), cerviche (really good) and platanos asado (roasted plaintain dessert - Amazing). It is probably worth planning to spend an extended time here so that you can also...More

Completely overpriced for what it is. When we were there, they had no Coke Zero, no Coke light and no still water. Charged us over 100 pesos for a tiny plate of Guacamole - it was truly a joke (see the attached pictures). And it...More

After visiting Akumal Bay to catch a glimpse of some turtles our driver took us to this excellent spot. The beach was white powder sand tucked into a bay loaded with coral and bathtub warm crystal clear water. The snorkeling was great and what topped...More

Don’t order anything but the fried fish. It is truly great. The longosta was dry but OK but this is the place for fried whole fish. Delicious!

We visited with our family 14 years ago and this stretch of beach had almost no villas/houses, no seaweed, and was much smaller. Progress marches on, and it's 3-4 times as expansive, but the beach is still exquisite. The food is still good. Definitely worth...More

This place is an amazing find. The ceviche with fish, shrimp and lobster is super tasty, huge and cheap. We had the grilled steak as well and some beers. They cook everything on the beach and you eat on the beach. There is no building....More

Place was packed as not all restaurants open on Jan 1. No parking, no service, good food, great setting on the beach. Lots of locals as beach is public. Bring your own food and drinks. Probably a lot better on another day.

Come here if you want to get the best beach lunch experience. Right on the water on a beautiful bay. We had the best and freshest ceviche in all of Yucatán. Also had the grilled fish and it was superb. You can stay and go...More
