So we ate dinner next door but we stopped in for my fiance to get a coffee. I ended up with a icey non-coffee drink (a pinada). They were both fantastic. We also got a cookie which were all made there and an apple pie to go. Everything was great and the server was fantastic. He spoke very good English... More

I absolutely loved it. There was only one waiter though his name was Manuel but he's great at his job. I love him, he was so nice. And the food was lovely. But the Agua de piña was astounding. They really do make it with love.

I did enjoy my nutella and banana waffle here, with a decent frappucino however the service was slow. Maybe they need more serving staff? Because I only saw one guy running about serving and taking orders. My waffle was sitting on the counter for nearly 10 mins before it was served. It was odd because he saw it there, even... More

We stopped here a few times for coffee and a quick breakfast during our trip. If you need good coffee to start your day, I'd highly recommend Babel. It has everything you would expect from an American coffee shop- great espresso, pastries, wifi, etc. I also particularly enjoyed the fruit waters. Very refreshing on a warm day! Easy stop if... Best iced-Americano I had in Mexico! These guys are passionate about coffee, I ordered an iced-Americano and it was prepared like a cocktail and very, very good. This cafe is a great escape from the hustle of vendors and a nice place to just chill, read and sip coffee. They also have free Wifi and comfy couches, though these I... More

I had the best papaya and yogurt smoothie here. The ambience is laid back, comfortable and there is free wifi. Great inexpensive place for breakfast, coffee or a snack!

Stopped in for breakfast with my father while in Tulum. Not a bad deal for $85 pesos. It included a fresh made waffle, coffee, and juice. It was nice to sit on the street and people watch. They do not have eggs at this place for some strange reason but would go again.

We had waffles, carrot cake, tuna sandwich and a bowl of yogurt with granola and fruit. Also had americanos and a latte. Delish and good prices. Cozy, open air but shady and breezy. Sat for a long time watching the street.

If you are a coffee addict and aficionado, you will not be happy in Tulum unless you discover Babel Cafe. I was surprised that Tulum's new foodie movement didn't seem to include good coffee until I stumbled upon this little gem. The smoothies and juices are fresh and homemade (unlike the hotels that serve sugary faux-juices and smoothies with pre-made... More
