What is it about this place?! I think our vacation really started the night we had dinner here. The music, people, vibe...unreal. You’re transported to another place. And of course the food is top of the line. We had the ceviche, robalo and boquinete mariposa...More

We visited Hartwood because the concept is known internationally. This place is quite good from a food perspective, however, excellent restaurants in Tulum are now in plethora. The issue with Hartwood is the compulsory 15% service fee (which was unknown to the diner) and the...More

Extremely good food in a fun atmosphere. Fish was amazing. Lobster wasn’t on menu, but can still order it.

Along with restaurant Verdant, Hartwood remained a favorite and is at the top of their game. Unlike the rest of the high end Tulum restaurants Hartwood serves only locally caught seafood. The ceviche with fermented pineapple is spectacular as was the jack fish, a surprise...More

Booked a table for 2 at 8:30 on Valentine's day 2020. We arrived 15-20 minutes early and checked in with the hostess and waited for our table to be ready. Within minutes of sitting down to wait for our table, a server from the bar...More
