We've eaten here once before and enjoyed the grilled fish. We wanted a small meal a few days later and this place was close to our apartment so there it is. Service could be more friendly. We ordered tacos; the waiter flatly stated no tacos! My Spanish is pretty good; after a few questions the waiter finely explained tacos were... More

Decent, fresh fish. Shame about the road side location. Price very good as are the portion sizes. Service was good, got the right change which seems unusual around Tulum!

We've been there for dinner. We've been really satisfied. The plates are huge and the food is very good, nothing fancy. We had a plate of grilled fish and seafood soup (a little too spicy for us) The best seafood meal we had in Tulum, at a very reasonable price. The service could be a little more friendly.

Mmmmm...El Camello. Definitely a food highlight of our vacation! Per recommendation from Trip Advisor AND our hotel as well, we had to come, and it did not disappoint! Went here once as a group of 5 and group of 7 - they sat us quickly both times. Really quick & friendly service overall, oh and SUPER cheap! I paid for... More

A simple but nice place, with seafood as well as burgers and fries for the kids. There are tables outside and inside, with a few fans to try to beat the heat. Prices are on the low side, 700 pesos for lunch for 5 people.

The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. I ordered a medium ceviche and it was actually too big for me to finish.

My boyfriend and I were referred by a local and could not have been more pleased! Great authentic feel and amazing food, you need to get the Ceviche (recommend the mixto with fish, shrimp and octopus)!

there is a reason this place stays busy, the seafood is fresh, tasty and priced very reasonably. locals favor it, so we joined in and enjoyed the food. not the quickest service but we were in no hurry and enjoyed our drinks in the meantime.

Tulum still has that laid back Mexican Village feeling but that feeling is changing. Condo developments, hotels, restaurants featuring automatic food are moving in up and down the town main strip area. El Camello Jrs isn't changing, fresh seafood brought in daily assures the diner of fresh, fresh and fresh seafood. One of the best kept secrets of the Southern... More
