Zamas has the best ambience among the restaurants we ate at in the area. The live music was incredible, as was the international cuisine and wine. We sat outdoors and close to the beach, which was pleasant and breezy. The highlight of the night though was the hundreds of turtles that hatched in a nest nearby while we were there,... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in Tulum for 5 days and had breakfast here one day and lunch/snack on another. The stuffed french toast is the stuff that dreams are made of. SO GOOD! We came back and split the grouper club for a snack later in our trip and that was yummy as well. Can't beat the ambience... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the setting and pizza at Zamas. View of the ocean was to die for, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was fine. If you want good pizza in Tulum with a great view, this is the place.

Some TA folks told us to try this place on a recent visit to Tulum. We were looking for "local fare," and we just didn't find it. The food was underwhelming, but the atmosphere and view were fantastic (especially with the music playing at night). It's got a great beach restaurant vibe, and that makes it worth a trip. I'd... The first time we ever at at Zamas I ordered the Danny Burger. Now, the problem is, I may never be able to sample the delectable offerings of Zamas eclectic menu because I am TOTALLY ADDICTED to the Danny Burger. This is simply the best hamburger I have experienced ANYWHERE. It is a real problem. Can anyone offer any recommendations... More

Great food, good prices, good atmoshpere, the BEST all around place to eat in Tulum. Pizza is great since they have a huge brick oven. They have entertainment on wednesday nights too.

ZAMAS Hotel and ¡Que Fresco! Restaurant started their inaugural international chef and mixologist series this Spring, and it something to be cognizant of. The series bringrenowned chefs and bar professionals from around the United States and Mexico to showcase international culinary talent and highlight the locally influenced cuisine of the Mayan town of Tulum. We attended the one on May... More

So many reviews of restaurants that it gets crazy reading them all quickly. I could not find a restaurant in time for dinner so we just walked into Zamas. Looks very pretty with all the candles and on the ocean. The atmosphere gets ruined simply because you can see the street with ALL the car lights. The food was okay.... More

Although Zamas claims they serve Mexican food, there is a large selection of Pizza and some pastas on their menu. Usually I don't like menus that have mixed food but I must admit My Chili Poblano Enchiladas were delicious. My husband's grilled fish was uneventful and not filling for the price of $210 pesos around $16. The atmosphere, decor and... More

We went based on the great reviews but found the food to be just OK. First, they were out of most of the things we wanted to order - that might be because we were there in the low season (June), and it had been rainy. We almost left for another place but the initial appetizer (shrimp) was very good... More
