Stopped here after a hot day at the ruins. So friendly and the food was great. Drinks were also BOGO. Don't miss it.

El Capitan was a great experience, the people were nice, service was great, they had the Olympics on and good music! The food was delicious! We tried the shrimp ceviche and a shrimp quesadilla!! Very generous portions for a great price!!! This place is a must!

Great Service and delicious, reasonably priced food! It's not on the beach, so the location isn't perfect but it's comfortable and the staff are really friendly. I had a whole grilled fish and it was perfect! Got guacamole as well and slapped some on top of the fish, and wow!

Dennis is your main man at El Capitan. This great little restaurant is cheap, cheerful and fun. From memory our group of ten sat on plastic chairs at a big plastic table out the back with a couple of the owners cats (who didn't bother us at all). We feasted on fresh guacamole and home made corn chips, ceviche, super... More

Go for the fish tacos!! The food at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. We ordered ceviche, nachos and fish tacos and they were so delicious, fresh and really generous serves - we couldn't eat it all. Denis was our waiter and was an absolute delight - he was funny and cheeky and made the whole night a night to remember.

Ever since we left Cuba, my wife has wanted that tender moist lobster delight only served by a good seafood chef. We ordered the 500 gr portion at the rate of 1.30 pesos per gram. That comes to $38.23 for more food then we were able to eat at dinner. We took the leftovers home and had another meal. The... More

I went for the lobster bisque after a very strong recommendation from a foodie friend and I also tried the fish tacos. Everything was very good and it is quite a lot of food. The chips and salsa they bring to your table as are good as well, fresh and unique to this establishment. The staff is eager to serve... More

Stopped here because it of a recommendation for fish tacos. It's on Alma st. just off the main Tulum road in town near the HSBC. We ate in the garden which was covered and had ceiling fans. Had a nice home-y atmosphere and as we passed by the kitchen I noticed how clean it was. The fish tacos were delicious... More
