I have bren to Playa del Carmen on october 9th to 10th and just tried my luck and showed up at the pitted date at 9am. Luckly the where allready open and I had the chance to try on of their delicious meals. They mentioned...that they have reopened just two days ago and that they are serving a bit if a smaller menu (see fotos) than usual. Anyways, the selection is still well deversified and it was hard for my to choose. I went with the creoa de espinacha and it was delicious! I had a capoucino with soy milk and a juice with it and I was happy with eveything. The service was friendly, helpful an fast. The location is very nice and stylish. There are seating options in and outside. Go and try it! It is absolutly worth it!More

The only regret is that we didn't find our way here till the last day of our trip! We would have come back and tried everything.. I had the curried soup bowl which was very tasty- tofu, peanuts, cauliflower, mushroom, curry sauce. Tons of food....Nicely cooked. My son had jackfruit sandwich which was plenty of food and also delish! The wait person was very nice and answered our questions. It was late on a Sunday and not very busy. People- If you want to eat good, health promoting food with no animal ingredients this is it. One of the best I have been to and I live in a large aware city in the US.More

The customer service here is lacking and the food is intermittent. Sometimes it’s excellent. Sometimes they are out. Sometimes the food is the wrong temperature. Sometimes it’s the wrong thing. If they mess up the order they will argue with you and tell you you...ordered it. They consistently over charge foreigners and also don’t answer their phone. Internet is intermittent. Credit card machine May be broken. One time they sent us food in a brown paper bag for our delivery. The food was damaged and not warm and they fought us about it. They even charged us extra for “bio degradable packaging”. The thing that is good about it is it’s open late. There are a few nice servers and when the food is good it hits the spot. Do not go here if you need something reliable. Don’t go here on a bad day or for work. Go when you can have grace or bandwith and flexibility for things to not go as planned. Bring pesosMore

Visiting The Pitted Date for a meal on the afternoon of 4/19/22 was a terrible choice. I took a taxi from my place to this restaurant for a meal only to have the waitress/waiter ignore me the majority of the time that I was there...and when he/she finally approached my table, she was hostile and rude. When I came into the restaurant there was one person eating and a couple leaving there were no other customers in the restaurant at this time. When I came into the restaurant the waitress just stared at my and didn't bother to greet me. She walked over and gave the table across from me their check and still said nothing to me although the restaurant was practically empty. After being ignored for a good 20 minutes or more she came over to my table and said something really fast in a harsh tone. I didn't understand what she said, and because she was stared at me in such a mean manner, I stared back trying to figure out what was happening. The waiter then asked me if I speak in a harsh tone and then asked if I wanted service, as her body turned to walk away (as if to say I don't have to serve you). She did walk away left me there and never returned. I had been sitting there so long that another couple walked in and was greeted served right away. Another couple came and waited a few minutes and as soon as I got up started leave the waitress ran over to couple who was sitting next to me and told them sorry for the wait and proceeded to take their order (As I walked out of the restaurant). Although I sat there for so long the waitress made sure to ignore me and made sure to service customers who came after me right away. Long story short I left The Pitted Date without being eating because the waitress disrespectful and ignored me. I spent time on the street after the left this restaurant looking for another restaurant to have a meal via my phone. Discrimination at it's at it's finest!!! Way to go The Pitted Date!!!!More

Wow wow wow! As vegans it's always a priority to see what you can eat when going on holiday. My friend and I assumed Tulum might be rubbish for vegans but we were pleasantly surprised when we found the pitted date was right around the...corner of our hotel! The breakfast menu is incredibly varied. We love in London were veganism is huge and honestly, this menu is better (and cheaper) than any London breakfast hotspot. We came here twice and ordered two meals each because we just couldn't decide and wanted to eat everything!!! Overall we had the Huevos Rancheros, French Toast, Cream Cheese Bagel, Avocado Tomato Hummus Bagel, Waffle, and Bagelwich. All of it was delicious and I have absolutely no complaints. The smoothies were huge and tasted fresh. Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast.More

Was really hoping for yummy Beyond burgers based on reviews. They were just mushy and the salad that came with we didn't' even eat because it was wet and bland. One of us got fries and they weren't fresh. So disappointing. Hoping it was just...an off night for the restaurant.More

Had breakfast here this am. I had the mushroom bomblette and my gf had the açaí bowl. We also had a cappuccino, coffee, and a smoothie. Everything was amazing(per usual)! The portions are very large, fresh, and tasty! The staff is very polite and attentive....We will be back again as this is one of our favorite breakfast places in playa.More

A nice little restaurant away from crazy Fifth Avenue. Good oatmeal for breakfast, salads and sandwiches for lunch, and a nice Thai bowl (among other offerings) for dinner.

Apparently, we didn't have a good day considering all the good reviews of this place! For us, the experience was really not up to par. The service was really poor, no smile, not professional and we had the feeling to disturb the waiter when he...came to our table. Regarding the food, we took the "Good pho you" soup. Very average, really no taste, whereas the idea for a good dish is there! Too bad, we had good hopes with this place located at two steps of our rent for the month, but we are not going to return there.More

The food it’s amazing and how creative the menu it is. You’ll discover new flavors. I don’t think it’s a cheap place and it’s been more than 6 months since they’ve been saying “our TPV isn’t working only pay in cash” when you are already...sitting and you already go until that kind of far spot. 6 months since I can’t pay in card? Who use cash today?More

This was our most visited restaurant in Playa del Carmen. We love when we can close our eyes and order anything off the menu. Absolutely fantastic vegan food. Highlights were the juices, bagelwich, breakfast burrito, and carrot cake. Our only wish: that it was open...a bit later : )More

We were staying at a nearby resort and stopped by for some dessert. I have a dairy and egg allergy so there was no choices for me at our resort. We ordered chocolate cake and an iced coffee. It was delicious. Very rich and decadent.

Even helped me with some spanish 😂 The food is really brilliant, the taste is out of this world. The service of...the staff is really really amazing. I recommend Marcos to everybody!
