My boyfriend and I wanted something a little off the more popular 5th Ave, I stubbled across El Fogon on Trip Advisor and decided we had to try it. So glad we did. The best Al Pastor we had the entire time we were there. Oh yea the cactus and margarita were also amazing! A must if your looking for... More

Excellent food! Recommend tacos al pastor! The horchata was ok, nothing out of this work. They accept credit card which is a big plus! It was a bit tough to get a taxi after lunch though.

Their chorizo taco and pork taco were amazing. You can get amazing tacos at such a reasonable prices. When you are done eating, you can go to Mega store right across the street and get some fresh fruits!

Great food, good selection, good prices. I highly recommend the pastor over the chirizo at this location though

The tacos here are incredible and even better, they're cheap (223 pesos for 8 tacos and beers). It's a great open space with a very relaxed vibe. We got there around 7pm but by 7:15 people were queueing to get in. The queue moved fast as the service is quick. This place is a must visit whilst in Playa. We... More

Can't beat the food quality for the peso anywhere in Playa. Only knock is if you are in need of AC, forget it or try to sit far from the open air grill and pork spit. Favorite stop; we hit it 2-3 times in a 7-9 day stay.

This restaurant was one of our favorites while staying in Playa! The cheese fondue was mouth watering! The service was quick and the portions and prices were very reasonable! Will definitely recommend and return!

I have eaten there numerous times. Lines can get long around dinner hour. There is really no atmosphere whatsoever but the food is good. Prices very reasonable. My favorite is a shish- kabob (skewer) of meat & vegi's 170P or so. They have an enormous burrito also can split it. There are several locations scattered through Playa. One across from... More

El Fogón has delicious tacos and local Mexican cuisine. It's a little hole in the wall but, it's well worth it. Your taste buds will jump for joy at the amazing flavors and the freshness of the ingredients. Fair warning the green spice is very hot as it includes jalapeno peppers. If you enjoy spice, a couple of sprinkles will... More
