The cuisine at Oh Lala! Is a refreshing change from that of other, more conventional restaurants. Amazing food and ambiance. Every course was meticulously put together and had amazing flavours. Starters to main courses, we ALL loved them ALL. Friendly staff with a welcoming smile. Can’t wait to come back
We LOVED Oh Lala! Their reservation process was easy, and they even had "special requests" listed as an option for the reservation. When we got to the restaurant at 7:30 PM, we were the only ones there at first. We're glad we made a reservation,...though, because the restaurant filled up towards the end of our meal. It was DELICIOUS! They were incredibly COVID-safe too, and we felt a lot better eating there than we did anywhere in Oklahoma or Texas. They even made something special for my girlfriend's birthday. The staff was courteous, and they helped us with any question or concern we had. I highly suggest eating here!More
My husband and I ate here at the end of June, right after everything was opening back up due to coronavirus, and we had the best meal! First of all, we were very impressed by the safety protocols (taking our temp and sanitizing our hands...as we enter, all employees wearing masks AND face shields) and felt safe eating in a restaurant for the first time in a long time! Second of all, the food was DELICIOUS! My husband had a perfectly-cooked and beautifully plated steak, and I am vegetarian so I had the also delicious Thai curry. We were so full that we almost didn't want dessert but decided we had to try it, and we happily stuffed ourselves with a rich chocolate mousse and didn't regret a thing :) We highly recommend this cute little restaurant! The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly.More
We had dinner at Oh Lala for my wife's birthday and they did an incredible job. We traveled with 2 other couples, including a chef from the U.S. The foies gras, cheese plate and jamon to start were amazing and we (collectively) had filet mignon,...tuna, lamb and mussels and they were all perfectly cooked and tasted magical. my favorite might have even been dessert, a revised version of chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream. great service, perfect atmosphere - five stars+More
As much as I've been looking forward to trying this restaurant (I had been delaying going because I don't like to make reservations), the food was good not excellent....and we were both disappointed. The amuse-bouche was simply a small serving of something like pita bread...with a little goats cheese....with no other bread served with the meal. We had mussels which were good, but we have had better. The octopus was served beautifully, but a little dry. And the tuna, although also served beautifully, was good, but I have truly had better....the spun sugar was gorgeous, and although I ate a little, it took up most of the plate. There are better restaurants in Playa, including their sister restaurant, Yum Yum.More
In need of something different to the hotel buffet, this was just what we needed. A tiny restaurant with a huge character. The staff were amazing - the right balance between formal and friendly. Luis looked after us for the night and he was great....The real star of this restaurant is the the food. The technical ability of the chefs is spot on. The balance of flavours and combination of different food cultures works really well done.
I wish I could visit again... maybe 1 day?More
Amazing duck tacos, absolute fuego burrata, with one of the better chocolate mousse around. This was so spectacular and would love to return. I must say, the location felt a little bizarre to me, but hey, who cares it was so great!!
I had high expectations given the many positive reviews. To begin, my friends called ahead of time explaining that I’m a vegetarian. I was told they would accommodate me, yet when in the restaurant, I couldn’t even order a main menu, only a modified salad....After eating the salad, I lay awake all night and the only explanation is that there’s something fake, processed or chemical in the salad dressing, ie with msg.
One of my friends ordered the tuna and was violently ill as a result, sick all night, running to the bathroom. An upmarket restaurant?! Seriously????
I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. My friend who was extremely sick after ordering the tuna said that he would never return.
Choose another restaurant. When you pay these prices, you should feel comfortable in the knowledge that you made a safe and healthy decision, yet this experience was the antithesis.

I’m from Midtown ATL, and I’d describe this place as more fit for foodies. I’d kind of compare it to a smaller, intimate King + Duke in Buckhead (if you’ve ever been) but for upscale International cuisine. If I recall correctly, they do have a steak and potatoes type dish they might like. It was an awesome food experience. The octopus dish was the best I’ve had anywhere.
