We have never had kachapas before, so I am not really an expert on this, but the ones we had in this restaurant were delicious! It actually made me want to take a trip to South America :) fluffy, with fresh ingredients, avocado, yummy all the way and great value. Also the service was prompt and helpful.

We had a lovely meal here. Started by a taster of each of their traditional drinks, we found it hard to decide which one to go for because they were all nice. We were both really happy with our meals, though stuffed at the end. The service was lovely, very helpful and quick! Also the price was very reasonable. A... More

Great consistant food always...the kachapas are a fluffy cloud of goodness with a warm buttery light pancake smoothered with shaved beef, black beans plantains, lettuce and a special cilantro sauce...wonderful to the taste buds...the drinks are fresh and healthy too... Passionfruit juice is divine...love the sour sop too...good family business....soulful food

We had the most wonderful fresh meal here on our first night in Playa del Carmen - the owner was so friendly - he explained the different dishes and gave us a taster of all the juices before we ordered - he even gave us his recommendations of where to swim and which cenotes to go to!

I have visited Kaxapa Factory several times over the past few years, and it consistently offers tasty, affordable, generously portioned and authentic Venezuelan food with great vegan/vegetarian options. If you're looking to avoid the touristy restaurants on Quinta Avenida but get reliable quality and a welcoming host, this place is perfect.

Not only is the food here absolutely delicious, it's also amazingly priced. for less than 20 US dollars, maybe even less that 15 dollars, you can feed two people with drinks and still have a little leftover for a snack. If you need something cheap and different from Mexican fare but want OUTSTANDING quality, come here! We ended up visiting... More

The owner is fantastic and explains the menu. Food is definitely Venezuelan and authentic. Does not deserve 5 stars compared to other restaurants in the area. Small restaurant with no breeze. Does not serve alcohol.

I had the Patacon with plantains, shredded beef, avocado & queso & it was awesome. My husband's arepas were great, as was my son's meal. The best part, on a blistering hot day was the fresh, ice cold juice we drank. Try the passion fruit or Venezuelan lemonade. Delicious!

We liked it so much we went twice! The owners allow you to sample their juices and the intro to Venezuelan cuisine was great!

My boyfriend and I visited Kaxapa Factory after reading about it on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. We each got a different starter, so we could share (we had cheese balls and fried plantain - delicious). They also give you a taster of each of their drinks, which was an excellent touch and led to me having a glass... More
