Everything was good from the Lime Soup to the sea food platter and garlic bread. This is definitely one of the better places that we have found in Playa over the years. The only disappointment is the lack of dessert items other than ice cream. Will definitely go back again while we are here.

Just a short walk from 5 ta AVE and 8th St, you will find this gem. We basically went for the lobster and they exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing and our server was very accommodating to my husband special request. He wanted the black bean soup, which is served as a smooth bean blend, with raw onions and... More

I cannot imagine how this restaurant gets such good reviews. Our five star hotel made a 7.45 reservation for us and asked for a special table. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation, the manager for the evening did not even bother to listen to whether we had a reservation or not. There was a lovely... More

Add me to the growing list of La Mission fans. Neither of us could come close to finishing our meals and we were shocked when the check came because the prices were so good!

Just off the strip a couple short blocks this was a find to be treated to authentic Mexican food, exellent quac and chips then to see the lobster combo plates and pay only 20$ for lobster and shrimp was wow! Also definately the best Pina Colada I tasted anywhere in Playa Del Carmen hands down!

My husband and I ate at La Mission last week, based on all of the good reviews. We wanted lobster! It was wonderful, as was the shrimp cocktail and the margaritas! Service was excellent, and it was very affordable. We will be back next year!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at La Mission this past week on vacation. Don't be fooled by the modest exterior. It's very traditional and proudly displays it's "Trip Advisor award of Excellance" out front. We started with drinks and soon our waiter brought us homemade guacomole and salsa. The chips were also homemade and terrific. Then... More

Since we have found La Mission we eat here every trip and have always had a great experience. The food is great and reasonably priced. You will see many of the same employees every visit. This trip my wife had the Seafood platter and I the Mexican Platter. Both were excellent and generous portions. They have great magaritas as well... More

When we pulled up and looked at the restaurant I thought the reviews were being generous about the quality of food being served. I couldn't have been more wrong! The lobster and shrimp are unbelievable! I know when I'm back at home and have a craving for lobster nothing will live up to this place!

Description
The popular Cozumel Restaurants Casa Mission, La Mission and Parilla Mission have brought their concept to Playa del Carmen. La Mission offers generous portions of seafood, steaks and Mexican specialities at affordable prices. And their "If you don't like it, you don't pay it" slogan is hard to beat. Proof of this is the preference of locals and visitors.
