Brought the family here for desayuno hoping it would be as fabulous as it was when I came here three years ago & it didn't disappoint . The service is always friendly & attentive . Yes sometimes you have to wait for a table & yes it's worth it . Family had chocolate frappes which they loved said it tasted... More

But the fact that the place is not smoke free is disgusting. That to me, means they care nothing for the client. If people want to smoke, fine... Up to them, but why would they "share" their venom with everybody!?? And why would the restaurant allow this to happen!??? SO upsetting and disgusting to eat a contaminated breakfast due to... More

The smell of bread was what made us stop, we could not decide what to buy, so we bought a little of everything and for that night a tiramisu with a latte. The staff was really nice and the bread and latte were really delicious. Defintely, we would go again.

Excellent food... We came on a Sunday morning. We're told it would be a 20 minute wait. After waiting that long we asked how much longer- they kept saying 5 -10 more minutes...by now we waiting so long we just stayed- under up waiting over 50 minutes. Food was fresh and excellent... Although not sure worth such a long wait.

Been to PDC, and to Chez Celine, a number of times. On our recent trip it seemed as is the quality of the products and service has gone down. Not sure what to attribute this to. Perhaps freshness of the ingredients?! Fingers crossed this is a bump in the road for what is otherwise a nice place to enjoy a... More

We were staying in a lovely apartment near Mamita's Beach Club, which was five minutes from this lovely bakery. Everything is delicious! We had several croissants to go, for breakfast, as well as many pastries. Love it!

Lovely place to have breakfast, wonderful home made boursin cheese, very nice service, and fantastic for french pastries, wonderful french brad with real salted butter, coffee not so great but everything else makes up for it, always has a line of people so you may have to wait in line.

I tried to have a sit-down meal here but when I got there it was a zoo. I could only order something to go, and the coffee and the pastry were both very good. But service was non-existent really as the servers are literally trying to keep it all together. lol.. I will probably try an early morning excursion next... More

Yes, they bake their own baguettes, and their coffee is really good, but my favorite breakfast is the yogurt with berries and mayan honey (not sure the honey is really mayan). It's also one of the more tranquil places on the insanely loud avenue.

Hi, Thank you very much for your coment. I'm happy that you liked the Chez Céline's experience! I just would like to confirm that yes, the honey is mayan. It is organic honey, raw, never pasteurized and made in Coba by mayan villagers. That helps them having an activity and not leaving their village to go to the bigger cities.... More
