When you see 5th Ave, it can all feel a bit fake and targeted. Los Rancheros is a little oasis. The food is beautiful, authentic Mexican. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being in any way obtrusive. The cost is very reasonable. What's not to like? 😆

Menus thrust upon you , impatient waiter in your face advising you to choose most expensive meals..we declined and chose a main course suiting our needs a small meal around 12 GBP each. Ordered a cocktail for my wife and small beer for me , then led to believe the tequila shots were on the house so had a couple.... More

One of the best parts of these trips is going into the local town for good food and Los Rancheros did not disappoint. Recommended by Emy at Barceló Maya if in town. The food and staff were both excellent. Quaint, authentic and more than reasonable. Really good food!! Sit on the top if clear, overlooks the street with all the... More

Be sure and order from the menu only if you see a price. The wait staff will try and convince you of a different selection not listed. They will then try and rip you off if you want to pay with USD rather than the local currency. They will try and collect more money than the actual conversion. We opted... More

Stopped by for a cold drink and a snack about 2pm.there were 5 in our party ,service was quick and efficient and the table-side guacamole preparation was a nice touch. It cost us about 650 peso plus tip .We found the restaurant to be vey clean. We would stop there again next time we are in the area

We have been here a couple of times. The food is hit or miss, the busier they are the better it is. BUYER BEWARE: These guys will write in black marker on the bill outlining U.S. dollars and peso',s. What we didn't know was the fact they were hiding the tip already added to the bill. The waiter told us... More

This is not a place that you want to go to as there are thousands of places that are better and that would include every other place in PCC - I would suggest you go to Karen just 2 mins along 5th ave. Staff friendly and food reasonably good. The icing on the cake for me was. When the waiter... More

We stopped in for a drink and got treated to 2-for-1 daiquiris and margaritas, as well as fresh tortilla chips with 3 types of toppings. The waiter made a fresh guacamole right at our table that was honestly the best I have ever tasted! Highly recommended!

We went tonight for a meal the food was great and the service we believed excellent. That is until the bill arrived. Normally after a meal the bill arrives with shots this time we are charged 650 peso. On top of this we are told we have included the tip after finally getting a very blurred bill which we cannot...
