Really cool atmosphere here. Went for brunch, and expect a bit of a wait since it is so popular. Good service overall, and the chilaquiles were delicious.

This was our first morning in Playa del Carmen. We took a short walk and stumbled upon this neat restaurant. It had some vegetarian and chicken dishes, fresh juices, and some of the best coffee. My husband had the chicken enchiladas and i had the three different sopes, fresh watermelon and papaya juice, and coffee to start our day. The... More

Fantastic place to get breakfast in a beautiful garden setting. Most of us had a version of their chilaquiles and every single one of us was satisfied, including both the vegetarians and carnivores. Still a memorable meal a year later.

We visited Cueva del chango for breakfast with family and friends. The food is fresh, juice tasty, the bread took me back to my childhood! What would make this place wonderful would be that the managers and the waiters were more friendly and would try a bit to make you feel like home.

We always come here while in playa. LISTEN.... You MUST try the habanero soup. It's not too spicy so don't be afraid, trust me! It is made fresh every single day. The shrimp tacos melt in your mouth. We love the salsa, drinks, and tortillas as well. As I said, habanero soup is a MUST HAVE! Thanks cueva! We will... More

This place is set under the trees with koi ponds and little streams running through it. Nice for breakfast or brunch, away from the noise and hustle of 5th Avenue.

I was really excited to try this place because of the recommendations, but I was ultimately disappointed. The food was good, but the service was slow and the staff fails to mention that you can only pay with cash. My personal feeling is that if you are a restaurant in a world class tourist destination, you need to accept credit... More

This place kept us and another couple waiting at their staffed reception desk without even greeting us, let alone asking for our seating requirements. Staff ignored us and completely looked through us as though we were not even there! Bad manners and rudeness can ruin any business, but especially a restaurant which is surrounded by countless others in a tourist... More
