Ah Cacao Chocolate Cafe is amazing! I had the iced mocha frap and a chocolate brownie and it was the best brownie I have ever had in my life! We also bought coffee beans and cocoa powder to bring back for our family and friends as gifts and they all loved it too.

If you are a cacao lover, walk to the far end of the avenida to experience this gem. The brownies are just divine! Lots of cool things to get there from mugs to toiletries, all cacao themed or with cacao ingredients. This store smells soooo good. I imagine in cooler weather a hot beverage here would be delightful. Enjoy!

I came here during my husband and my 10th anniversary trip in playa deal Carmen.... One of the only places to buy REAL Mexican vanilla... Everywhere else seems to have the artificial stuff. I had a yummy brownie ice cream and brought some chocolates home that my family enjoyed. Affordable desserts and coffee!

Can't go wrong with chocolate! Went to one on 5th avenue. Pricey but a nice break in the walk. Had chocolate drinks and snacks while people watching.

The local coffee and chocolate is well worth trying much tastier than anything we get here. You can also buy some of their products at the cafe which are all locally manufactured and will support the local community

My girlfriends and I searched out this place so I could experience one of the great chocolate coffee drinks I read so much about. I enjoy dark chocolate and bitter coffee but the combination in this particular drink wasn't very yummy. I didn't even finish it. We tried their chocolate too and found it just to be average, nothing special.

The chocolate is unbelievable and all of the different ways they sell and market it from edibles to shampoo and moisturizers. The coffee is way better than Starbucks...this concept should be franchised and give them competition...I'd be the first to sign up...try the coffee and hot chocolate mix...awesome

Read a bunch of hype on here prior to making the trip, and was really looking forward to visiting one of the shop when we got to Playa. Nothing to see here. Move along.

My wife and I stopped in here on our visit to Playa Del Carmen. The free samples were delicious and we left with some great chocolate and coffee for a very reasonable price.
