Great Mexican food!

Had several dinners and lunches here. The food is really great, especially the fajitas. I wish there was a good Mexican like Vagabunda at home. Make sure you don't miss out on the guacamole, it makes a great starter to share. But I would advice to stay away from the nacho mountain, as it was a bit... read more

My husband & I happened upon this restaurant while walking on Quinta Avenida in search of a place for dinner. We decided to try it. They had a special that night of fajitas and a beer for a reasonable price. It was delicious and the portion size was great. The service was fantastic and the servers were very friendly. I... More

La Vagabunda is a good, not very good, Mexican restauranf located on the tourist intensive 5th Ave. In Playa del Carmen. We had breakfast and it was good, but I wouldn't return, I'd look fo something better. The wait staff worked hard, but they couldn't make this OK restaurant any better.

The waiter suggested the chef<s special which was two pieces of chicken with melted cheese and a salsa. Served with rice. The portion was a little small but it was very tasty. With a beer included in the special, it was really worth it at $10 US

We were in Playa del Carmen for 9 days, and had breakfast here pretty much everyday. It was right across the street from our hotel, so was super convenient for us, and we loved their choices for breakfast. The price is reasonable, and the service was decent.

The staff were all very polite and well mannered, spoke great English and there were a ton of people in the kitchen so there was hardly any wait for the food. The food was also great a little expensive for what it is but completely worth it

I had the Enchilada Playa - fantastic. The vege's and seafood were served outside of the enchilada's. By the time I got to the enchilada I was too full to eat them. My husband had the giant shrimp - he also was very impressed. We both had a wonderful drink. We spent 1.5 hours there (not due to slow service... More
