This restaurant was different than I expected. It's a bit pricey for the amount of food, but it was all really good. The drinks are not your typical drinks, which is a great thing. All really good. No complaints. Easy to find

This is one of my favorite locations on 5th avenue. It is closed right now. I have found out it is relocating to Calle 38 in a new larger location this November 2016. So those who enjoyed it will be glad to know its not gone and will be back

If you want excellent Mayan food, this is the place. We love it and we go nearly every time we visit Playa. They have a Margarita with Jalapeños in it... very unique and tasty.

Don't be fooled by the "permanently closed" tag on Trip Adivsor. They are moving to a new location on 5th Ave, around 5th and 36th (I think) St. The decor is beautiful in Yaxche. The kids always look for the orange with black spots. The servers are attentive and will answer any questions that you have. Their food suggestions are... More

I don't even kno where to start! Mouthwatering food! Most delicious food Ive ever had! More expensive place we ate at during our week long stay BUT totally worth it!!! Seriously, I had a mouthgasm with every bite. As I told my friend who went with me, "this food made me feel better than any man ever has" (and that's... More

We were a faily large party of 5, seating inside was unavailable but staff arranged a large enough table for us outside and it was awesome. Seldom have I received such attentive service as that evening. We ordered authentic Mayan cuisine and all of us were very impressed with quantities and taste. Drinks, main meal and desserts were outstanding and... More

Always wanted to try this restaurant, but sadly I was greatly disappointed. Of the 3 dishes served one was acceptable (Mayan Steak), of the other two the Cochinita Pibll had no flavour at all and the Queso Relleno was very salty and accompanying sauce bland. Drinks overly priced. Service in general was middling to fair. What really put me off... More

We enjoyed the waiter service and the desert was great. The main dishes were regular which was less than we're expecting considering the environment and the descriptions on the menu. I didn't like very much the fact that an employee comes to your table, takes a picture, and then tries to sell a bottle of tequila with the picture. In... More

We went for lunch, the air conditioning is a plus at noon hours, my son had the Lima Soup, delicious, we had several appettizers, the cochinita pibil is great, and the dip with garlic and pumkin seeds is amazing!
