Good food and service. Definitely aimed at the tourist market. The menu has a large selection of local dishes and full bar service. The atmosphere is great with a very Yucatan flavor. Centrally located and always busy.

We ate three times at La Chaya Maya. The first meal was delightful--turkey Pinole and cream de Chaya and the Yucatán plate. The crema de Chaya was so good I had it a second time, with relieving de Pavo, which was interesting but not delicious....More
This was the second best restaurant I ate at during my time in Merida. Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. This is a place all of the locals told me about. Definitely a place to visit every visit to Merida.
