We loved the wonderful inside patio, which let’s you relax after the busy “city”. The food is good, the service great, prices are fair. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida as it has a great selection of the local food tradition.

We have been here a few times in the past several years. We drove 3 hours from Cancun to eat here this year and were not disappointed. You must try the Panchito's with cochinita pibil. Awesome! The neopolitan flan is also excellent. Don't forget the...tip for the tortilla lady!More

This restaurant was recommended by a number of locals. All options on the menu were local cuisine, so we had to try it. Food was ok, it was Yucatan local food, not what I would call typical Mexican. The service was good. Atmosphere was good....Price was good. Food..... I wasn't blown away.More

We ate in the original and newer restaurant and both were good with many choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many locals frequent the restaurant so you can assume that they must know what is good in Merida and they are correct. Home made tortillas...are made during the day. The older cafeteria style restaurant is loud and usually crowded, with fast service and an open kitchen. The newer place, near Santa Lucia Park is set in a restored colonial mansion, set with many plants in a more open space, thus quieter than the original place.More

On a recent visit, I ate here four or five times, with nothing but great meals. I particularly liked the sopa de lima, papadzules, and fruit salad. Try the fruit juice with chaya ("tree leaf spinach"), which is delightfully refreshing.

Not sure why this place gets so many good revues. Its distinctly average in just about every respect. You can do a lot better for the price...you could do a hell of a lot worse too to be fair

The atmosphere and servers were great. The food was mediocre. I was disappointed. Waiters are great, they can read the room and serve you quickly if you're in a hurry or you can take your time. Tortillas made on the spot are lovely, and taste...AMAZING.More

El lugar es súper típico, de hecho, la comida es genuinamente maya al grado que quizá sea un tanto exótica para gustos menos aventureros. En cuanto al precio, nos parecieron razonables, al rededor de $650MN por 5 personas... More
