I was excited to bring my visiting auntie and mother from Europe to Oliva kitchen for an evening meal - how incredibly disappointing it turned out to be. I arrived at 8.20 and found no tables available. When I asked the waiter I was told...More

Fantastic amazing food. Quality of ingredients is second to none. Flavors were off the charts. Selection made me dizzy and to hell with etiquette, I grabbed a piece of bread and soaked up every last bit of wonderful sauce on my plate. Tonight I think...More

We ate here twice in three days. The first time there was supposed to be a 1-1/2 hour wait. They sent us across the street to wait at a beautiful boutique hotel to have a glass of wine. No sooner had we finished our glass...More

Had a lovely night with a friend in Oliva Kitchen. Very cosy place. Small but full of atmosphere! The prices really surprised me. Excellent price-quality range really. The most expensive plate only 200 pesos (around 8 euros). High quality ingredients and professional service. The pasta...More

Very affordable, fast service and a terrific meal. The place is small and the tables are jammed together. We will be back when we are in Merida. This restaurant is part of a group in multiple locations around Merida.

Some of the best Italian food we have eaten anywhere! This restaurant is a jewel, and its prices are reasonable. However, it is small – holds only about 20 customers – and we were lucky to get a table (admittedly during the high season).

My wife and I spent four nights in Merida earlier this month. We love Mexican food but we were looking for something else to eat. I would have never thought I will say it but Oliva was one of the best Italian place we have...More
