Went for breakfast during the week and it was lovely and quiet with only us and another gentleman so service was good. The waitress did bring a basket with a plain croissant and a chocolate one which were both delicious though they weren't free. I...More

Fantastic, cute place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The croissants both plain and chocolate filled were divine! Best I've had outside France. ( another reviewer had said the same and it is true). Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Not much to look at from outside but a...More

Hemingway would have hung out here. This oozes with all the juices of "Expat-dom." This place is great. You feel so comfortable here. You feel so relaxed. The vegetable lasagna was good bordering on great. The salad was edible. The lemonade is amazing! The chocolate...More

I had lunch with my family here yesterday and it was delicious and a beautiful setting! Quiche, chicken salad, tarta d'alsacienne, & exquisite chocolate cake & cafe americano. I highly recommend this place. Gracias. Merci!

I have been to France twice and I am from NYC. It is difficult to find decent French cuisine. It is very hard to find a decent croissant, but this was probably the best freshly made croissant I ever had. The menu varies depending on...More

The bistro looks like nothing special from the outside, but once inside, the art and architecture take over--something interesting to see everywhere you look. The coffee and pan de chocolate I had were excellent and cheap--less than 50 pesos for both. I will be back,...More

I eat here about once a week and EVERY time the quality is the same. This is the mark of a GREAT restaurant - one that can maintain the same quality day in and day out. I almost always eat the same thing (vegetarian), however,...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
After you leave, What do they do with the basket of 3 pastries that comes to every table? These are misrepresented, since they are at extra cost if you eat more than one, so you get charged for them, and that's one issue, because they should let you know when they are put on the table, instead of just presenting the bill, but we have seen people handling them, especially the children at the next table, who were picking them up and putting them down, and who knows where their hands had been, but my guess is that the ones that aren't eaten come right back out to the next customers. YUK!!!

It is like 99% of restaurants in the world. I would think that if you think they are giving you free pastries, then you do not eat out very much. There is no free lunch. I do not know what they do with it and I really do not... More
