Great ice cream, many flavors. Coco is my favorite of all, and their coco is the best in town. Was in Valladolid recently and Meriida's Dulceria Colon has better coco ice cream than anywhere there as well.

This evening I had ice cream at what is supposed to one of the oldest ice cream shops in Mexico. I had chocolate and peanut ice cream. It was ok, but not exceptional. I went back to le Peron ice cream shop a second time....More

Not impressed, ice creams are just fine, poor presentation and expensive for what you get in return.

I didn't try anything else but their sorbet is seriously the best I've had anywhere in the world and if I could, I would have had it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

More of an experience than anything else. Tropical ice cream flavors while people watching on Paseo Montejo make for an end to a full day in Merida. Sit with the locals and enjoy the beautiful people and scenery.

I was in Merida last month and after walking back from downtown to my hotel in Montejo, I stopped for a sorbet at traditional Colon. All are freshly made on premises and I cannot say enough of the mamey sorbet...like eating a fresh mamey. Their...More
