One thing that I really like about this restaurant is that it is open at 12:00. Many places in Merida are not open for lunch until 1:00 - so this is an added plus. I always enjoy the pasta dishes in Trattoria La Pasta. The service is fast, quality of food is excellent and if you sit outside, the view... More

We just came by this place by accident around lunch time. We didn't expect too much from the interior but it was very nice, large pizza for a good price. The staff was also very friendly and the service was quick. All in all a nice place for a more than decent pizza.

Bolognese sauce was poorly made - and the pizza did not seem fresh and was not hot - we were very disappointed. The images on the website compared to what was not close. And the shrimp on the pizza was not de-veined (realise some people don't care about this and is common in Mexico - but thought it important to... More

Very popular - had a small queue when we went. Good outside seating, friendly service, nice selection of pizza and pastas at reasonable enough prices. Solid (if not outstanding) Italian food, we were happy with the choice.

The abundance of high quality Italian food in Mérida at the moment is rather astounding. And even with first rate competition from places like Oliva Vinoteca, this place stands out, especially for its fresh made pastas and sauces. We've eaten here twice Last year I recall we were the only souls in the locale. This year it was bustling. It... More

After 5 weeks of Mexican food, we felt like eating something different and by coincidence found this place. The menu looked attractive and prices are reasonable. I had gnocchi arrabbiata and my girlfriend fettuccine bolognese. Both were delicious although a bit cold and could use more pepper. For dessert I had a panna cotta with mango sauce which was just... chose the restaurant because it was close and seemed to have good reviews. The restaurant was full and the service wasn't bad but it seems that the cooks have their own idea of how to prepare certain plates. I ordered Penne Vodka with salmon. The sauce was a yellow mustard color not the usual pink and I think I found... More

I wanted an early dinner only to find out that it doesn't open until 7:30PM. The Pasta was good and the airconditioned area was a respite from the heat and humidity!

We have known about Trattoria for some time but have never gone as it is closer to central. We were looking for a great Italian restaurant (of which there are many) and were pleasantly surprised with the service, the food, the quality and the price. Start with a good glass of wine at 50 pesos! You will need it to... More
