Food was ok. Not 100% authentic. We went for dinner and we say it’s a mixture of Mexican Cuban food. White Rice is standard for Cuban food ,but this place unfortunately doesn’t have it available. They only had yellow Mexican rice. Wife is Cuban and...my Son in law is Mexican so we do know the difference. The service was very good. Very polite and hospitable. May consider visiting again to try the coffee during breakfast.More

A short walk from our hotel. Open early, free WiFi. Coffee roasted on site. Attentive service. I had a fruit plate while my husband had Cafe Habana--Special Omelet with tortilla, black beans, potatoes, chorizo and pork in a red sauce.

Usually I don’t write negative reviews. This place is dirty, cashier has terrible manners. Food is bad.

I went there for breakfast. I had been once before a couple of years ago, but since everything changes, wanted to try it again. I ordered an espresso (probably a mistake) and an omelet Habana. The coffee had a nice foamy top and was short,...but smelled and tasted like it was some good brand of instant. It may well not have been, but I am European so fussy about my coffee. The omelet was superb! Everything you'd expect to find in a good Cuban sandwich, and then some. The service was excellent, price reasonable. I definitely would go again.More

This café was recommended for breakfast by the concierge at our accommodation. It is a somewhat old fashioned place with waiters who have been there for years wearing long aprons, dark furniture, a bit formal yet relaxing and welcoming - it all adds up to...a special ambiance. We went three mornings in a row. They have a huge choice of set breakfasts, albeit not very much for vegetarians. The sets are a very good deal, but if you order something extra, or have a la carte breakfast the cost soon mounts up. We paid between MXN155 to well over MXN300 for our meal - but, by European standards, that is more than reasonable. That said, everything we had was very good: juice, fruit, omelette and wonderful tostadas. We didn't have any other meals there, but the menu offers a bit of everything, and again there are special deals for lunch, and even dinner, I think. Plus, of course, a full bar. The waiters were fabulous, quite dignified, actually, and very kind.More

My wife and I stopped in after we saw they had a $109 menu with soup, chips, drink dessert and your choice of entree. Good value and good amounts of food for around $5 US.

Was looking for a quick breakfast and luckily we found this place. It's an older style place, been there since the 1950s. Service was good and the food was very good. Highlights of what we ordered were the chocolate la Francesca served cold a d...the tortilla Espanola. Both simple but authentic and excellent.More
