Tonight I have been there with two friends. The location is good, it is close to the city center, the restaurant is cozy and nice. They have good options for vegetarian (very unsual for mexican restaurant). For meat eater the food is amazing too! The waiter was very kind too, he suggested us different dishes. We are very satisfied about... More

The sopa de lima was good, but not the best I have ever had. What turned me off was that they were doing renovation or construction on the front of the building outside when I entered, and there was a layer of construction dust from the old Mayan pyramid stones or whatever they were grinding or drilling into, on the... Not a high end, high priced "ambiance" type of place. But the food was great and the service superb. And the price was very good. Their panuchos brought me back 40 years to the last time I experienced Panuchos Yucatecos. All of our party of 4 enjoyed their meals and there were no complaints. Had it not been for the... More

Open, off the main square, traditional Yucatec cuisine....hasn't let me down for ten years now. This restaurant is not the most "done up" in the area and is more of your hole in the wall establishment. The food is consistently good and fresh. I am addicted to their Sopa de Lima and they have great mole sauce. I have tried... More

Using trip adviser contributes advice we have now been twice and can confirm good value for money. Very generous breakfast didn't need lunch. Coffee not so good but that's not unusual here. Went again this morning but shut at 7.30!! Perhaps they had a busy night so went to the Habana which is in spitting distance on the corner. See... More

The food is fine and the piece is ok too. If you are in town for a couple of days, it's a good restaurant to sit down for a bit and have something to eat.

Ended up eating here about 5 times during our 5 day stay in Merida! For breakfast, lunch or dinner, great food all day. They offer traditional Mexican and Yucatan food, as well as pasta and pizza. There is a great local feel here with lots of locals popping in to eat. Staff are really sweet and want to chat and... More

Went there for a late night snack and ended up eating pizza, garlic bread and drinking beer and cuba libres (rum and coke). Service was great, prices were great and the food was wonderful. Small informal place, very clean and good atmosphere. Will recommend to anyone. When in Merida will go there again.

Good mexican food. Really cheap. The first time the service was kind of oke. The second time it was horrible. The waitress was unkind, uninterested and the only smile I got was when she gave me the check, after I had to ask for it 4 times.

We went for breakfast. Food was delicious. But the OJ....omgosh the best ever. Freshly squeezed. Restaurant was clean. Service was great even with the language barrier. No one spoke any English at all and our Spanish is terrible, but there were no issues. Would definitely go back.
