We come from Monaco so we are quite used to Italian food and we were quite impressed about the quality of the food. The bread is very tasty as well as the food and we have to thank Virginia for the great service provided. We...recommend you this restaurant 100 % !More

Me and my girlfriends were wandering back to catch the ferry and randomly decided to stop in for a drink. We sat at the bar where before long we started chatting with the owner. She is AMAZING! She was so much fun that one drink...turned into two, then 3+, then complementary brushetta. Yum! We couldn't resist. We told her to choose whatever her best dishes were. WOW!! We didn't come to the island to eat Sardinian food but we were SOOO glad we did. I come to Isla Mujeres often and I will ALWAYS stop at her place. She has an awesome life story and her food is cooked with passion. This quickly became a must stop for me! Ask for Celia the owner and start by sitting at the bar. You will not be disappointed! She felt like an old friend and from now on, she will be.More

Sardinian smile is the beat place to eat dinner at Isla Mujeres. We had the minestrone soup- it was perfect, some starters, and we had the Tune Tataki, it was a big dish, very fresh with incredible Flavors of ginger and seseme oil, very recommended!...The service is amazing, super nice, cosy and really felt like a dinner in Toscane. I would definitely come back here.More

Sardinian Smile was perfect! They offered a 5 course meal for New Years Eve! Lobster moose, mushroom tortellini, grilled lobster, tiramisu ....you get the drift! Ed and I were impressed!! The wine selection was good and the mixed drinks were great!! The staff was attentive....The owners were present and friendly to the guests. You’d forget you were in Mexico for a hot minute ...the atmosphere was sexy!More

We have been on the island for six days, and so far this was the best meal. We are big fans of Rolandi’s and had planned to go there again but decided to try Sardinian Smile on a whim. The black squid ravioli with shrimp...and asparagus sauce were truly something special and the wine recommendation was spot on. My husband had an excellent mojito, and we shared a trio of house-made desserts.More

We have been visiting Isla for ten years, and always find our way to Sardinia smiles at least two or three times a visit.....well this year we were there for a dinner.....very small crowd in the restaurant that night...., love the pizza but we chose...to have a glass of wine.....I chose red my husband white....when the waiter brought our glasses we laughed and thought it was a joke....my husbands white was barely 2 ounces in the glass and my red a small pour also.... Asked the waiter he spoke with the owner, who has in the past been friendly and out with the quests mingling.....well this night she told the waiter to school us on glasses and that their glasses are bigger and she uses her eyes and fingers to gauge the wine......well ......we will not return....to bad..... Well needless to say we will not return.....to bad....More

Sorry Madam but we serve a glass with 6 ounces of wine, in a big glass for selected wine, to all our customers. Maybe for you was not enough but we have very good and expensive wine with low price for customers and we cannot...More

Had Lasagna one night, not hot at all ...not even warm. Not that great. My husband had fish. Very small portion. He wasn't thrilled. Maybe it depends on what you order. First time there a few weeks ago. Went to Javi's and they were closed,...so we thought we would try this place. Probably will not go back, lots of other good places.More

We were ready for some non-Mexican food and found this place on Hidalgo St. They greeted us right away at their menu stand, but there was no pressure to eat there. We stayed, had some help choosing great food, and were pleased with everything. Glad...we ordered the salad for two to accompany the meal (family of 4), not because we would have been hungry, but it was a nice appetizer! Their Popeye “pizza” was great, pastas were homemade, and the steak was rare and delicious (be sure to ask if you like it more cooked, because that’s just the way it was served). Our server was very attentive and had a true “Sardinian Smile!” We hope to return one day for more good food and live guitar.More

I don’t think so, but could be wrong. We were focused on other menu items. They very well may....menu is right on Hidalgo when you walk past...easy to take a look at. There are a few places for pizza on Hidalgo.
