This is by far the best service we received in any restaurant on the island. Breakfast very good. Closed on Tuesdays. We enjoyed it so much we went there 3 days out of the 8 days we spent there.

Came here today for a late brunch. Had the Cazuela Islas Mujeres. Absolutely delicious, Mexican dish that comes out bubbling on a hot, clay plate. Good prices and amazing service.

The food was awesome and talking with Ziggy about growing up on Isla was priceless. The photos and art on the walls stirred limitless conversations. Never met the owners but Ziggy provided excellent service/conversation. Hope they stay around for many years as good breakfast places are always changing on Isla de mujeres.

We had heard this was THE place to eat breakfast. With so many awesome places to eat it's hard to narrow one or two down to try. This made the short list and it did not disappoint. Prices and food were excellent. This is where I learned to say "la cuenta" lol. The waiter should work for Rosetta Stone. :)

Ziggy was our waiter and he spoke several languages including Hebrew. He served us Cazuela which is a traditional mexican breakfast served on a hot clay plate. Similar to a omelet, but more light light a souffle. Very tasty and worth trying once.

We had a very nice breakfast here and the table we had on the covered patio was great.I had read that that had a great chef who has worked here since the '98? I think. Anyway I had the Cazuela Ranchera which was delicious. It's ham, re-fried beans & salsa and comes with tortillas on the side. My wife had... More

Took our friends here and it was as good as before if not better. We all had something different. Fancy mexican names that I don't know. But I had pancakes and wonderful, one friend the crepes. Yum!!!!

My wife and I have now eaten here (and at the other location of course) for 13 straight years. I struggle to understand that some give M&J anything less than 4 or 5 stars. Granted, the only thing that we eat here are the cazuelas, so I can't address the rest of the menu. I personally think that there is... More

Back off the usual main and restaurant row streets. This little corner restaurant is noted for their cazuela breakfasts. Cazuela is a baked plate of eggs and cheese with other selected items served pipping hot. I was not as impressed with their signature potatoes on this visit. My omelet was very tasty. They are closed on Tuesdays.
