We walked in and could see them cleaning the fish in the kitchen! A good sign, in our opinion, so we ordered the fish of the day as well as the garlic shrimp. Of course it was very fresh and also very delicious! This small, local spot is a little of the beaten path, and might require an adventurous spirit... More

At first, I thought we had made a bad decision by going here. Our server seemed as it was the very first time she had ever taken an order or actually looked at their menu. She was really, really slow and it was really, really hot inside. Who knows, maybe it was her first day. But then they finally brought... More

We ate lunch at this tiny restaurant at the suggestion of a local and were so glad we did. The proprietor was funny and gracious. We had one of the specials (vegetarian enchiladas with a white sauce), which was delicious. We like eating at local spots (versus a place you can find anywhere you go). This fit the bill and... Read about the Chile Relleno's had to try. They were big and very good. But not the best we have ever had by any means. Nice that the restaurant is off the beaten path. Great Lemonada. Would return but might want to try something else. Service was good and friendly.

We went to La Lomita for breakfast and were not disappointed. Huevos rancheros and an omelette: big portions and very tasty. The place is decorated inside and outside with large coloured flowers, making it really quirky and beautiful. We kept wanting to go back but didn't get a chance to. Will have to return to Isla mujeres soon!

I have been going to this family run restaurant since the early 90s and always had great food. The fried whole fish and the mole is delicious. It's a short walk from the main square, easy to find. Every time I return to the island I am so glad it is still open.

I'm really torn on this review, as the first time I went to this restaurant I (and the rest of my party) thought the food was awesome, drinks were great, and all felt we should come back again during our visit. Which we did. Now we're sorry for that. The second time, the first thing we noticed was that there... More

This was one of our favorite local restaurants in Isla Mujeres hands down. The Chile Relleno was hands down the best I've ever tasted!!! Highly recommended!

No frills kind of place, but delicious, authentic food. I can't imagine I will ever have better mole than they make here!

This restaurant was right down the street from our house. We got food to go one night after our pizza never showed up. We had supreme nachos with amazing guacamole and pico. There were also 2 dips we weren't sure of and hey were HOT! All of the food was delicious and prepared quickly.
