My wife and I have been frequent visitors to Isla Mujeres for the past 32 years and this unassuming local restaurant has been one of our favorites! Not only is the food delicious, well seasoned and extremely fresh, but the prices are about half as much as all those tourist places around the corner on Hidalgo. Trust the staff's recommendations.... More

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel (Casa El Pio) - recommended for more authentic Mexican... We were really happy to visit somewhere with more locals present! We went for a very late lunch after a day at the beach and got the last empty table. Based on the recommendations from the owners of our hotel - I... More

Great time with a group of friends here for dinner. Thanks for teaching us about Día de Reyes and letting us try the Rosca de Reyes!

Small and quaint. Nice people and great food. Would recommend the arrachera - nicely marinated and grilled.

Budget eatery in Isla Mujeres. Super friendly, family atmosphere, clean, nicely prepared food, lots of choices (poc chuc, mariscos, carnes, tacos etc). Highly recommended!

We had tacos which were alright, very reasonable. The guac and chips were very good! We'll give it another try and order the pork chops!

Tiny little cocina on the corner, very clean and quick friendly service. I would recommend the shredded tortillas with chicken cheese and Mexican sauce, sooo good.

We randomly found Poc Chuc and were pleasantly surprised. The place is un assuming and the service is not up to US standards but the food was simple, good, authentic and great value. Want some tacos and ceviche but nothing fancy? Check out this spot

Poc Chuc was only steps from my hotel which made it a go to spot. When you see the locals eating there, you know its a good spot. Got into the habit of getting up, usually hungover, and getting a coffee or latte to go. The latte is quite good and cheaper than the Roosters. Breakfasts are recommended. Muy barato.... More

We'd heard that the guacamole at Poc Chuc was supposed to be good. We'd tried it many years ago and one time was good, another time more onion than avocado. Disappointed that this time onion was also dominate. The entrees were OK, not great.
