This is a family-owned, local place that is not fancy but the food is really really good and it is very economical. We came here twice for the fish tacos and they were the best we had downtown area. And only 40 pesos. The place is a breath of fresh air from some of the other spots downtown that are... More

My wife and I had the Arrechera steak dinner and it was fantastic. Service was top notch and quick for island time. We will for sure and come back next year. The price of the dinner was way less than the quality of the meal, great value.

We chose this restaurant because it was reviewed as authentic, it has friendly service and the food was said to be extremely tasty. We knew it has no air con and you may have to wait at busy times. We arrived at 2pm were seated immediately and enjoyed the breeze of a lovely fan. We enjoyed lime soup, garlic soup,... More

This is a great place for fresh, authentic, local food. The service was friendly. We loved everything we ordered. Try the mole!

We had dinner here as various people from our hotel recommended it. The restaurant is small and definitely a local cafe. The food was good but very close by is a local restaurant with better food and ambience…Rubens.

This restaurant is a good example of home cooking. Some of the regional cuisine is served here like Panuchos or Sopa de Lima. The food is good. The only problem is that it is a small place and it is full most of the time, full so you have to either arrive at a time when it is not a... More

My wife would tell you to order the bean soup. Make a meal of it. I would tell you to listen to my wife. She felt the call of the soup twice on our trip. The second time was our final meal on Isla. First time, had a torta cubana. Second time had Veracruz-style fish (rolled the dice on that... More

We happened into PocChuk by accident. We were hot, tired and cranky with no idea where to eat so I pointed to the closest place I saw. The fans and the cheerful island decor made us feel better. The cold drinks came quickly which was even better. We marveled at how such a large menu could be produced in the... More

Small portions. Husband ordered french toast kind of a joke. I have Huevos Rancheros. Just kind of plain. Would not go back too many other places with better food.
