Small, traditional, inexpensive Yucatex Mexican corner "loncheria" with excellent friendly, welcoming and warm service, very good "Sopa de Lima", and absolutely THE best "Pollo Asado Yucateco", which was lovely served, so juicy, fresh and perfectly marinated, served with rice, salad, marinated pink onions, avocate, and...two home made salsas. Superb service by waiter Rafael and Chef Guadalupe(?). Loved it. In nine days probably one of the least expensive places I have eaten with some of THE BEST foods in Playa Norte and Isla de MujeresMore

Cheap, good food, good service! Oh, and also more typical. Some locals told us to come here if we wanted real local food. Right behind Miguel Hidaldo Av. TRY EVERYTHING, chose randomly!

We went to this restaurant multiple times because the service is great, the food is amazing, and the owners were awesome. We were on the island during a hurricane, and asked them to cook us breakfast burritos to go since we would be out of...power for a few days after the hurricane hit. The burritos got us through the time when we had no power and were even delicious after two days. Additionally we were walking by the night before the hurricane and stopped in because it was raining. They were clearly closing up, but the owner insisted on staying open so we could eat. You can't beat the price or the food. The salbutes, tacos, and burritos were fantastic.More

The restaurant is named after a local dish that tourists would generally not recognize. The specials were listed in Spanish and one of them included mondongo (i.e. tripe). Also, we did not see any tourists in the restaurant. Those are generally the signs we look...for to find the best and most authentic food that the locals would eat rather than something adapted to the average tourist's palate. We got exactly what we were looking for: delicious and flavorful local dishes made from scratch that gave us a new and very pleasant food experience :)More

Listen, I don't care what others say regarding the best tacos, the best place to eat, the place blah blah blah! Do yourself a favor and stay away from the tourist traps on the island that are reviewed by people who enjoy Americanize Mexican food!...If you want authentic Mexican food, then this is your place! Hands down, the best place on the island! We ate dinner and breakfast and let's just say that the prices are cheap and the food is plentiful! Ines, our waitress was amazing! She was attentive and courteous! When you go, tell her the gang from PA sent you! The tres amigos...Gio, Lisette and Nicole!More

My boyfriend and I were roaming the streets looking for something delicious, affordable, and that did not have an american upscale vibe to it. We came across this cute little place and decided to have a seat. The waiter was very accomodating to my vegetarian...needs, and by boyfriend had a poc chuc. I ate a Torta and had the meat replaced with an egg. Oh my god it was the most hearty and delicious Torta ever. It was a little messy but that was okay. My boyfriend absolutely loved his poc chuc. He ordered poc chuc at every restaurant we went to after this one but they were not the same. This chef deserves a raise and an award. The waiters were also really wonderful. I will definitely come back here the next time I come for vacation!More

The service was good unfortunately the fish tacos and chicken verde were not as flavourable as we remembered. On a positive note the Ojo Rojo was very tasty, the best we have had on the island so far.
