Delicious burgers and margaritas. Fresh baked bread and excellent meat. Service was terrific and it’s a great place to enjoy on the ocean side of the island.

While out on a golf cart in 2016, I decided to stop at Madera. Fast forward to 2020, and I am still going to Madera each time I am on the island. The food choices are so unique and great tasting along with great cocktails....Be sure to go through the gallery and meet Rikki too. From art work to creative jewelry made locally, they have some great things you will not be able to live without.More

Maybe the best burger I’ve ever had, and a poke bowl that was even better! The bacon bites are a must!!! And I left with a super cute bracelet from the attached gallery! Great service, easy to park the golf cart, nice view, and DELICIOUS!...We will definitely return!More

Madera Food and Art. Madera is located on the east side of Isla with unobstructed views all the way to Cuba! They are known for their burgers but we LOVE their made from scratch drinks as well. mango margs, a spicy jalepeno marg and ice...cold beer this time around. We order 4 burgers.....................I know, I know, a burger in Mexico, really? We order two Juicy Lucy’s (stuffed with cheese) and two with cheese on top. Burgers come with a side of smashed potatoes and we get the smashed avocado for an app. The burgers are tremendous and I chuckle to myself when my buddy asks the waitress where is the ketchup? She just smiles and says, “you might want to try the burger first and then you may not want ketchup.” RIGHT ON! He did not need ketchup. Our wives also like to shop a little while we wait for our food as Madera has homemade, one of a kind, art for sale. We usually go home with something new but not this time. Home now and craving this burger, a mango margarita and that view!More

A very limited menu plus great ingredients combined with amazing culinary skills for results that are amazing. This is a “don’t miss” kind of place folks and by now there are thousands of satisfied customers that would agree with me. It doesn’t matter what you...order, it will be excellent.More

Didn't eat there but the artist displays were amazing, especially the wood and stone sculptures. If you are looking for pieces to add to your home or office, definitely worth the stop.

We stopped at Madera Food & Art while visiting the island. The art and items you can purchase were very cool. We were going to have a drink and snack and went to the restaurant. All of the small tables were full so we chose...2 seats at the long high top table. The waitress immediately came over and asked if we had more people joining us, which we did not. She told us we shouldn't be taking up a large table then and I pointed out there were no other tables available. She then rudely told me I would have to allow others to sit at our table, which was fine with us. She told me again 2 more times that I would need to share our table. She came to take our order and was very abrupt and rude. When she came to take our food order she never looked up and simply said "food", as though she were ordering us to place our order. She seemed to be very inconvenienced by us being there and her having to serve us. We were initially going to return to try their hamburgers but after that, we decided not to. I was not impressed.More
