Had heard of this restaurant from my son who visited back in March 2016. We were not disappointed. Great food and service.

Excellent fish tacos and nachos. Large portions, good to share. Has a great view looking out over the beautiful beaches.

Neat atmosphere and location. The kids menu has chicken nuggets, nice option when kids are tired of trying new things. The steak sandwich is more like a philly sandwich, very good. The burgers are good size.

Can't beat the atmosphere and the view! Fish tacos are superb! You may want to wait until the sun starts setting to choose the rooftop seating as the sun is still very hot at 6 pm.

Very americanised menu, pretty average fried food and strong drinks. Will appeal to some, but there are plenty of places near by that do the same with friendlier staff and more efficient service. The view from the upstairs terrace is lovely though, so if you're after fries and a rum punch it's not a bad place to be!

We ate lunch here. Wonderful location and service was superb. Our food was very good. I had a banana cabana drink that was fabulous!! It tasted like ice cream. The decor is very American. Texas themed items everywhere and playing current American country music. Definitely see they cater to the tourist crowd.

Many restaurants in this area of Isla are outside, on the street. Jax actually has walls, ceiling, fans, etc. We started our vacation here with the Nachos. They are good and the service is excellent. Worth a visit!

Food was good but service was slow What really lowered the rating was the peso conversion. Standard when we were on the Isla was 17 pesos to a dollar, Jax was 12 pesos to a dollar! We paid 50% more than standard. When we asked our waiter he stated that the owner sets the valuation. Rip off!

Jax has some of the best seafood on the Island because Capt Mike catches the fish himself. The beer is always cold and the TVs always have some sports from somewhere on.

The location is awesome and the views are great from upstairs. That's where it ends. Traveling home sick from bad shrimp!
